Jeez, I hope this question hasn't been answered a million times before, but I can't seem to find ANYTHING on it! My question is - What quest does the "Orb of Singularity" belong to? It is in my inventory once again, and if I try to remove it, the game tells me "Quest items may not be removed". I do not believe I have ever seen anything about this item, but each playthrough, there it is, again! So bloody annoying, to think that there is a quest I know nothing about, but that just seems so unlikely after all of these years!

Anyone?

Google seems to think it is Vaermina's Orb from Arkved's tower.

I don't recall an item with that name being in Oblivion.Maybe it's from a mod?

It is definitely a mod. There is no Orb of Singularity in the vanilla game.
