Oh, poo, there goes another faction questline that I can't complete until I increase several more skills to 100%, so that the bonuses from the Night Mother's Blessing will boost them to over 100. :p

I guess now that the Dark Brotherhood questline is going to be on hold for a while, it's time for me to start doing all of the Daedric quests. Following is more or less the order in which I've been going through the quests:

Thieves Guild questline - Completed
Arena questline - Completed (finally!)
Fighters Guild questline - Completed
Mages Guild questline - Completed

Assorted quests in the cities and settlements - Mostly done (scattered amongst the preceding questlines)
Dark Brotherhood questline - In progress

Daedric quests - Next on the list
Main questline - Still to be initiated (have carefully avoided speaking to Jauffre or getting too close to Kvatch to prevent any Oblivion gates from opening yet)
Mopping up any remaining assorted quests and exploration of caves, forts, ruins, etc. - Still to be done

And then, once all base-game content has been completed:

Quests and other content from each of the official add-ons - In order of release

Yikes. Those Kvatch City Guards are going to get ripped to pieces... D:

I always try to clear Kvatch as soon as possible, then the guards only really have to worry about hitting each other... *rolls eyes at dodgy game AI*

Just an observation: Are you wanting to use the Felldew Glitch to get attributes above 100? If so then be careful about increasing skills to 100 unnecessarily - or you might not be able to get your +5/+5/+5 without huge amounts of tedious grinding.

I hadn't considered that. :(

I was planning to complete the base game before enabling and playing the add-ons, in which case I would want to increase any skills that can get an extra permanent boost to 100 before getting the boost.

I've already increased several attributes and skills to 100, and perma-boosted three skills to 103.

I guess I'm not afraid of having to do a lot of tedious grinding later on if necessary, since I've been playing the game leisurely for the most part, in contrast to how I've usually played it in the past.

I'll have to think about this.

Yeah the Kvatch guards get absolutely massacred at high levels. It's more of a challenge saving them then anything else, which is true for basically any "escort" quest. This page provides a warning about that as best as it can. The first time I played I think I almost had to do all of these at a high level, and it was a nightmare saving them.
