Find the location of an item?

I found the Blade of Woe in some container, luckily. Looks like there is no (easy) way to search for the location of an item.




Hello everyone,

I have installed Oblivion after all these years because I want to finish it. Thanks through steam cloud saves, I have old saves in which I already progressed through a lot of the game. According to the journal, I finished the Dark Brotherhood questline. But I checked my only places where I store items which is Frostcrag Spire and the manor in Anvil, but there is no Blade of Woe anywhere.

To cut this short: Is there a way to ask the game where the Blade of Woe currently is, without checking all of the buyable houses? (of which i am unsure I bought and which not)

I have TES installed but did not find any positional data but I am also unsure how to load a save file or if I even need to load the save file.

No, not easily.

You can probably create another Blade of Woe through the console, if you really want it.
