Haha thanks guys.

So..now I'm thinking having an alt for blacksmithing isn't gonna work (main is clothing/woodworking). Someone said on another forum

"I have yet to see a guide that mentions that deconstructing gear that is above your character's level bracket (1-14, 15-24, 25-34, etc) will only return a small percentage of materials back."

Can anyone confirm? If so, deconstructing on an alt would only be efficient if I kept it on par with my mains level, which would require a lot of work...

Think I should just sell/trade blacksmithing then? I'm guessing everyone agrees that I can't specialize in everything. Or should I keep my main somewhat leveled in blacksmithing and heavy armor in case I want to switch one day...

This is the first I've seen of this, and if it's true, it's very interesting information.

Hmm can anyone confirm?

Also..random questions..

1) Why is the capital of the aldmeri dominion in Valenwood (home of wood elves) if the AD is pretty much run by high elves?

2) Is there a reason my harvesting is "failing"? I'm in grahtwood level 22, and 3/5 times picking cotton the plant just disappears. This doesn't happen often with other materials, but still does occasionally.

Spoilers for 3rd question

3) Luck of the albatross...captain linwen (female) says to rescue her wife. Is that a mistype or think they did that on purpose?

4) As someone not specializing in blacksmithing, should I sell raw materials, or refine them and sell the usable material (and the other goodies you get from refining

I think the storyline was that the Queen was trying to gain favor with the Bosmer or something and attempt to promote unity among the AD races.

I believe that's on purpose and isn't entirely unique in the game.

It's absolutely intentional that there's same-sex marriage in ESO. There are several quests where women mention wives or men mention husbands.

As usual, thanks guys. Questions remaining plus one more...

1) Is there a reason my harvesting is "failing"? I'm in grahtwood level 22, and 3/5 times picking cotton the plant just disappears. This doesn't happen often with other materials, but still does occasionally.

2) As someone not specializing in blacksmithing, should I sell raw materials, or refine them and sell the usable material (and the other goodies you get from refining).

3)
Spoiler:
Anyone who has done Root Sunder dungeon, what is this achievement I'm reading on the wiki? Root Sunder Ruins Group Event 10 Complete the Root Sunder Ruins group event.

Also, there are various welkynd stones that when I activate (not part of the quest to free the spirit in there) make the place shake. Any idea what those are for?

edit: oddly enough, those prompts to active them disappeared after the quest, but they had absolutely no use in the quest...

Root sunder... is that the group delve in Grahtwood? Like you go in and see a bunch of close knit mobs in close proximity in groups of 4-5? There's a quest in the place (or two) and in addition there's also a boss to kill that grants a skill point. All delves have that and each region after the 1-15 zone has a delve.

I can answer the new #1 easy, it's a phasing issue. World of Warcraft also has that happen from time to time, ever since they introduced phasing into the world.

1) I'm sorry, what's a group delve? And yeah theres bunch of tigers in groups of 4-5 and crocs. Two quests for that place. Not sure if I got a skill point or not...

2) What's the achievement about though? I'm missing it and cleared the area...I was by myself though..

3) What's the cooldown for weapon enchantments? I wanna know if those passives/bonuses are worth it. like one set says if you have the 3 items it takes 1 second off a cooldown. but i don't know if thats off of 10 seconds or 2 seconds..

4) Spoilers for small AD quest in grahtwood
Spoiler:
I'm trying to join the bracken briars who protect that tree. Any relation to the forsworn briars? Aside from the obvious name, there's a lot of talk about the heart in them...

5) Regarding phasing about the disappearing harvesting nodes..what is phasing?

6) Can someone give me an idea about the scope of power a daedric prince has? They're immortal, pretty powerful, but like...are they gods? Could they make their own planet in a blink of an eye? Or are they just...stronger..with their own unique gifts and powers? Are their powers stronger in their daedric realms vs nirn (tamriel)?

7) Spoilers about quest with general endare
Spoiler:
so..how much to skills like intimidate and persuade matter? I just had to kill general endare because (i assume) i couldn't use the intimidate option to convince her to give me the mantle. does that mean she would've lived if I had the initimadate option? Did I just kill off a pretty important NPC?

I can help with two of these! 4 and 7, funny enough.

Hidden:
4. No, don't think so. They're pretty far apart geography and culture-wise.

and

Hidden:
7. Intimidate and persuade only cut off a little bit of legwork in my experience, and don't seem to affect the outcome of any of the numerous quests I've done. I think I used intimidate on that quest and had to kill her anyway.

To answer #7:
Spoiler:
I've done that quest both ways, and the end result is the same. If you intimidate her, you get a few more pieces of dialog where she shows regret for some of the dead, but then she gets [&@%!] off at you again and becomes hostile. Killing her is inevitable.

Intimidate and persuade don't always work. And if you mindlessly pick the [ ] options whenever they appear, you can sometimes end up with worse quest outcomes, if your goal is to keep as many innocent people alive and healthy as possible.
