Even on a PC with Firefox, www.uesp.net takes you to http://en.m.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page

You might've accidentally hit the "mobile view" button on the bottom of the screen, or maybe followed a mobile link to it that got you stuck there. To get back to desktop view, just scroll down to the bottom of the page; there's a link that says "Desktop".

Nope, typed in www.uesp.net as I've always done

Did clicking on "Desktop" at the bottom bring you to the desktop site?

I have had this too, for the most part everything is normal but some articles end up randomly being in the mobile view for some reason.

Sounds like several people are having this issue. Dave said this:

Quote:
Can I get someone that has this issue to e-mail me their HTTP headers that they get on the page that incorrectly shows them the mobile version? In Chrome you can view the headers by hitting F12, reloading the page, going into the Network tab, choose the top item in the list of resources and copy/paste the headers in an e-mail (not here as the headers probably contain their secure session ID). They can see if a hard-reload of the page works or try purging the wiki page.

Dave's email is dave@uesp.net. Let me know if you send one.

We cannot recreate this issue, have you followed this?

Hey guys, just made an account to post. Sorry for necrobumping such an old post but the issues have been something I've experienced as recently as this year and hadn't seen a solution to it online.

I was getting this same issue from using an old URL from a bookmark created loooong before we even had mobile pages, haha. It was intermident, sometimes giving mobile pages on pc, sometimes giving the appropriate ones.

The URL was: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page

Googling UESP gave me this URL: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page

Its only a subtle difference but after changing the bookmark to the newer one I have not had the mobile pages occuring on pc issue since. Thought I'd just share my experience since you guys seem to be unable to replicate the problem. It may be primarily rooted in people who like me have had uesp on bookmark since the old days and just imported chrome bookmarks over for years without updating the urls.
