So I just picked up the Anthology.
I had a quick scroll around and this doesn't seem to have been covered. Does anyone know if the discs, for Arena and Daggerfall, have actually been patched, or if they are the Discs as released.

I know the other three are up to date, from what I've seen, but I know a lot of the patch work done on Arena and Daggerfall were made by adoring fans long after release. I had a quick test of Arena and I notice the game doesn't crash when you strike something with your fists, which was a bug in the original CD.

AKB and I were looking at that once, and based on the Readme file I think he had determined that Daggerfall was an unpatched version. I can't tell you much more than that; I haven't played the first two yet and I don't know about their patches.

Well, based on Daggerfall being unpatched, I think it's fairly safe to say that Arena won't be either.

Damn shame that graphical patch for Arena isn't done yet. I'm kind of tempted to wait until it is.

A little dicky bird tells me that a way to tell if your version is up to date.

In the ARENA folder "A.EXE" should be 174,021 bytes dated Aug. 4, 1994 at 11.29AM.

This means that the CD from TES:Anthology is an up to date version.
