Characters:
Deimos
Spoiler:
Name: Jason Fox
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Appearance: Jason has cropped back hair, crimson red eyes, and a Caucasian skin tone. He has an athletic build. He is usually seen wearing black clothing with a black hooded duster or trench coat on top.
Powers/Mutations:
Bone blades - Blades that come out from the bottom of his wrists and extend to 12 inches from his fists. During an experiment to bond his entire skeleton with Adamantium, these bone blades and his arms as far up as his elbows were bonded with Adamantium. This made the blades razor sharp and made them as well as his arms virtually indestructible.

Teleportation - Can teleport several meters away with ease and up to 2 miles with difficulty. He can teleport much farther than this, though the consequences of this may be extreme, depending on the distance. He can also teleport other beings or objects up to 1 mile away. Also when he teleports, or "jumps", he leaves behind a puff of black smoke and when appearing in a new location, he appears with a puff of black smoke.

Superhuman reflexes and agility

Skills: Expert of Close Quarters Combat, including his Adamantium blades and unarmed combat.
Weaknesses: Electricity makes it nearly impossible for him to teleport and has increased damage on him. Despite his superhuman abilities, he has most of the same weaknesses of a normal human being.

History: Jason Fox was born to a mutant father who was over 100 years old and a human mother. His father had bone blades that came out of the tops of his arms and extended to 3 feet from the end of his hands. His aging was slowed due to a healing factor. Jason's father served in several wars, including the World Wars.

When Jason 15 years of age, he had a nightmare that his father was killed by a sniper. This was when his father learned that he was a Mutant, because when Jason woke up from the dream, he Bone blades were out. The very next day, his father was killed. Unlike his dream however, his father was decapitated. Having witnessed this, Jason teleported for the first time, rather accurately, behind the Mutant assassin and stabbed him in the back. All of this was seen in public, so Jason was forced to go into hiding and survive by himself at the age of 15. By age 27, he was captured by the Assassins Guild, who killed his father. They attempted to make him an ultimate assassin by bonding his entire skeleton with Adamantium. Though he had to be awake for the procedure, to keep him from escaping, he was given a drug that temporarily paralyzed him. They started the process, but Jason's willpower was too much for the drug. By the time his bone blades and forearms were bonded with Adamantium, Jason fought off the paralysis and escaped.

@ Knight Captain Kerr
You got the skills basically. Also, I changed "items" to "equipment". Anyways, your accepted. :D

@ The-Shadow-One
Looks good here.

Also, due to the change in plot, the RP will be taking place in the US.

I think you need to be more specific than just "Psychic." Seriously that is very, very vague.

I guess I can have Chris be on holiday in the US as the RP starts. So this RP is set in the X-Men, X-Men 2, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine continuity?

Author:  Deimos [ Fri Nov 02, 2012 12:36 am ]
Post subject:  Re: X-Men: Mutant Uprising

Yeah, it would help if you were more specific. I don't fully understand his powers.

Also, anything will do, as long as they are in the US at the start of the RP. I should put up the story to avoid future confusion.

Telekinesis? I don't need none of the other things.

Hypothetical: If one didn't know about X-Men would it be possible to join.

Matt, how do you not know, hypothetically?

Maybe I'm here representing a third party. You don't know.

Post subject:  Re: X-Men: Mutant Uprising

Well.. As long as they knew at least a bit about mutants and some of the powers they've been known to use, I think they could. If they didn't know however, I would recommend reading up a bit on it. This particular RP is based on the movie series rather that the main stream comics.

But not First Class as that is in a different continuity. First Class is also known as the best one by far.

What's the range on his telekinesis? Is it zero range(on himself and by touch) or more? Or is it a few feet? A couple of tens of feet?

How powerful is it? Can he lift a knife? A chair? A dog? A person? A vending machine? A car? A 747?

Origins Wolverine and The Last Stand were terrible.

About any length, in twenty feet, twenty being, lift a grain of salt. Up close, I'd say DM decides.

I say up close, you can be allowed to lift a tank, given your character has the concentration at the given moment.

Musicman247 wrote:

Ehmm. Well this is a plot that I doubt Wolverine would get involved in.

Also, I would like it to be noted that this is my first time to DM. Any help would be appreciated, such as a helper DM.

Yeah, that was a joke. :P

I'll probably be going with my idea for last time - a girl that can turn into a liquid.

Author:  Deimos [ Fri Nov 02, 2012 1:54 am ]
Post subject:  Re: X-Men: Mutant Uprising

hhaha.. liquid girl. :D

Also, you don't have to be a mutant. you can also be a mutated human. A mutated human is a human who has been mutated though some means or another (Spiderman=Radioactive Spider, Hulk=Gamma Radiation) A mutant is a sub-species of human.

Name: William Greene
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Appearance: Caucasian. William is 5'3, with short, messy blonde hair. He has a soul patch. William has blue eyes. William has a skin tone that is not too dark, but not too light either. He has an athletic build, and usually wears a blue shirt with a tan jacket over it. He wears black jeans, with white sneakers.
Powers/Mutations: Will can fire bolts of electricity out of his hands. If he does this too much then he will be knocked out. He can make a force field with his mind, but if used for too long then he will be knocked unconscious, like his other power.
Skills: William is very proficient with handguns, and almost never misses a shot.
Weaknesses: If he is in water, or is wet, then he cannot use his powers. If he tries to use them while wet or in water, he will be paralyzed.
Equipment: Will carries a Beretta M9 with him when he can. The only other item he has is a phone.
History: Will grew up in Richmond, Virginia. His dad, Rich, is an airline pilot. His mother, Anne, is a waitress. Once he was older, William found that he enjoyed going to the local gun range. He practiced and practiced, and eventually got to the point where he never missed his target. He found that he was able to send a bolt of electricity at whatever he wanted. When he was 23, he was mugged in an alley by his home. Before the man fired his gun at him, a purple force field appeared, which protected him. William was able to escape. He practiced his powers, learning of his weaknesses, and how to use them.

Hope this is alright. :D
