What would life be like if you where a Dremora or Xivilai that lived during the oblivion crisis?

Just an idea for an RP

I've actually always wondered what it would be like to be one of these guys.
I guess it would suck for them to be killed again and again during sieges. Or do they even care about that?

Yeah they care about getting killed, it's in one of the books in-game, the smarter they are the more they fear death and pain.
But in all forms they learn to overcome the fear.

e.g Scamps don't fear death or feel pain.
Xivilai fear death and feel pain.
