Shipwreck RP, ftw!

Background

Pacis - the most famous yacht in modern history. Her massive size dominates the waves of the sea. She is known throughout the world as one of the greatest vessels ever created.

She has departed from New York, USA, and is headed for Spain. This is her first voyage. Little do her passengers know that they shall not reach their destination any time soon.

For Pacis has ventured into a colossal storm that has shattered her into pieces. Of the hundreds of passengers onboard - celebrities, politicians, owners of global business empires - only a handful of them have survived. These survivors will awaken upon the beach of a large, mysterious tropical island.

The island harbors unnatural dangers. The survivors will be pinned up against each other as they face earth’s most malevolent residents - be they man, beast…or something greater. The adventure is about to begin.

Character Sheet

Of course, here is where you create your character. As a passenger on the Pacis yacht…well, you’re pretty damn well-off. You could be a celebrity, politician, famous (yet secret) criminal, business owner - whatever! One this is for sure: If you were on that ship, you are filthy rich.

Name:

Age:

Birthdate (day, month, year):

Gender:

Ethnicity:

Occupation (before being shipwrecked - remember, you’re rich):

Hair Color:

Eye Color:

Physical Appearance:

Clothing:

Misc (no weapons):

Biography:

Personality (optional):

The Rules

1. White-headed capuchin

2. I’m the boss. If you don’t like it…learn to like it.

3. At least try to use good grammar.

4. Respect my ninja skills, as well as the ninja skills of all the other ninjas on UESP.

5. No god-modding. I shouldn’t have to explain this rule.

6. You can do anything you want in this roleplay. Make friends, make enemies, turn on a friend, befriend an enemy. Do whatever you want. But remember - the main goal of this roleplay is to get the hell of this bloody island.

7. Of course romance is allowed. Duh…

8. Yes, you can have cell-phones. But you sure as hell won’t get any reception out here on the island, so they’re pretty much useless. The same goes from laptops and other similar devices.

I -was- going to make a male...but there's too many!

Name: Fiora Cavazza

Age: 22

Birthdate (day, month, year): December 3rd, 1988

Gender: Trans--Female.

Ethnicity: Italian (Caucasian)

Occupation (before being shipwrecked - remember, you’re rich): Hunter, and chef. (More below.)

Hair Color: Dark brown

Eye Color: Light Blue

Physical Appearance: Slender, long legs, classical Italian features. Light olive skin, unblemished. A bit tanned. Her eyes are bright and sharp, consistently observing her surroundings. Her hair reaches her shoulders in length when not pulled back, but she often keeps it in a modest ponytail. Her arms are lightly toned, as are her legs; she looks like she's done some running in her life, that girl. She wears a decent amount of makeup, dark eyeliner being the most prominent.

Clothing: A black, loose fitting blouse, a pair of dark, obviously very expensive jeans, a pair of golden hoop earrings, and a pair of closed-toed sandals with silver trim.

Misc (no weapons): A small, slightly soggy notepad, a pocket sized book "Tastes from Greece" and a pen, made from pure gold.

Biography: A daughter of two prominent and very well off fashion designers, Fiora was pressured to go into art and fashion design at a young age. However, she found neither of these subjects really interested her. What -did- interest her was cooking, and more specifically, cooking what she herself had killed. She thusly became a hunter, hunting small game at first, then traveling to various parts of the world to hunt various game, all while creating delicious recipes for her catches. Her parents weren't exactly delighted, but they allowed their daughter to do what she liked, being rich enough to support her various explorations, figuring sooner or later she'd snap out of it.

Fiora was in New York visiting her parents, who lived in a first class apartment in the city New York itself. She was on her way to Spain, planning to catch another flight towards Africa, before the shipwreck.

Personality (optional):

Fairly upbeat, with no shortage of the rare "common sense." She tends to think before she acts, but when pressured, she simply goes with her gut feeling. She has a weakness for fluffy things, and indeed has never shot any rabbits nor panda bears (who hunts panda bears anyway?), or similar fluffy things. She seems more fond of animals than people at times, lending her something of an eccentric flavor. She speaks with a noticeable, but not dramatic accent, adding just a bit of its exoticism to her words.

Let's get to this! :D

The air was warm…humid…uncomfortable. The beach was large and filled with exotic shells, unusual species of crabs, and hundreds of gulls. Much of the sands were stained with red fluid. Paint? Blood? The survivors of the Pacis sinking lay on the beach. Out of the hundreds of celebrities, business owners, presidents, and other great men that were on the beautiful ship…they were the only ones left alive - stuck on an island with no help in sight.

A massive, thick, and forbidding jungle lay behind the beach. The sounds of birds, monkeys, and other wild animals filled the atmosphere. A few mosquitoes flew about the area, some of them descending upon the survivors for a meal. The waves of the ocean flowed across the beach, breaking apart on the sand. The sounds the waves made were relaxing.

The journey had just begun.

Spoiler:
BEGIN!!!

Ray Kaestner, international art thief, lay face down in the sand with mild waves washing over his body. He came to consciousness in such a position, dragging himself from the sea so that he lay several yards from the water's edge. There he remained for several minutes, until he had regained enough strength to shake off his delirious state and stand. He looked out towards the sea, recalling his calm and well-executed dive from the ship to the waters below, and how he had managed to drape himself across a piece of floating debris just as his muscles had begun to give out and he had begun to drown.

I must have been drifting for hours.

Ray quickly took stock of his possessions, confirmed his current lack of injury, and began to move with the shore as his guide; he was in search of fellow survivors of the shipwreck.

Retired General Calvin Smith lay face down in the sand. A little gray parakeet was pecking at his head. "Urgh..." He rolled over, nearly crushing the parakeet, and rubbed the sand from his face. He got up slowly.
"I knew it! That witch my son married did this on purpose!" He let the parakeet settle on his shoulder. "The Colonel! I knew no ship could take you down."

He started to think back. "Should never have trusted that ship. I don't do luxaries for a reason."

Fiora groaned...her eyelids struggling to open and her eyelids fluttering like birds' wings beating against a cage. She heard the crash of the waves, and wondered where she was...it was certainly not at her beach house, because she never passed out like this, well, not very often. Besides, the events previous were coming back to her...she had grabbed a lifeboat set adrift, but lost it as the shore became tantalizingly close, and she had just let herself drift...thankfully, something had smiled on her, and she must have reached the shore, passing out from exhaustion. Either that, or she was in hell.

After a few moments of drowsy contemplation, she pushed herself up a bit...managing to kneel, her bleary eyes blinking out at the endless sea. She glanced left, and right...perhaps there were one or two figures in the distance...but maybe just spots on her vision. She sighed and buried her face in her hands, willing her brain to think, or her body to awake, if this was indeed a dream.
