The previous summer has passed and a new one has dawned. And with every passing year, Scoutmaster Rose get prettier and Scoutmaster Tom gets grumpier. But this does not hinder the sheer idiocy of their fine campers.

First, I’d like to give you a nice, friendly little welcome to Camp Elk - known to some as “Camp for Idiots”. As you may have guessed, it is not uncommon for the children who attend there to be idiots; aka do really stupid things for no absolute reason other than the fact that they are bored.

Camp Elk, unlike many other summer camps, houses both male and female scouts, aging from thirteen to seventeen. Male scouts, led by Scoutmaster Tom Williamson, are known as “Buck Scouts”. Female scouts, led by Scoutmaster Rose Allon, are known as “Doe Scouts”. Both Buck and Doe Scouts complete activities together. They do not compete against each other.

However, there is a form of competition among the Elk Scouts as a whole - badges, and stars. Badges are gained by completing tasks that the badges require. For example, the Badge of Athletics would be gained by winning a certain athletic event. The Badge of Bravery for some sort of brave event, and so on. For a list of badges, see below. Badges are pinned on sashes given to every Elk Scout in the beginning of the summer.

Stars are gained by performing good deeds. Each Scout has their stars posted under their name on the bulletin board in the cafeteria. Whoever has the most stars by the end of the summer gets a special prize…

Requirements: Perform an act of great generosity.

Badge of Athletics
Requirements: Win an athletic event.

Badge of Organization
Requirements: Report to the cafeteria earlier than required.

Badge of Fishing
Requirements: Catch the biggest fish of the day.

The Roleplay

This roleplay is a comedy based on summer camp. Do funny stuff. It’s meant for funny stuff. Will there be serious parts? Sure, be definitely not a whole lot of them! We need personalities of all kinds - cool, arrogant, nerdy, flirtatious, idiotic, smart - it’ll all add to the funny! Have a blast at Camp Elk, people!

Activities

There are numerous activities at Camp Elk. The day’s activities will be posted on the bulletin board in the cafeteria. The activities are

Field Trips (all-day activity - if it’s not on the list, you simply can’t do it due to the lack of a bus)

Some will be listed on the bulletin board one day, and not on the next. You are not allowed to do activities that are not on the bulletin board. But who follows the rules at Camp Elk???

Camp Rules (the rules of the Camp)

-Report to the cafeteria by 8 in the morning

-Never take part in an activity that is not on the bulletin board

-Be kind and generous

-Show respect to the scoutmasters and staff

-Never be away from your cabin after 9 at night

-You MUST take a shower at least once a day

-No feeding the wildlife unless given the permission to do so.

-No cell-phones, iPods, or any other form of entertaining technology is allowed on the campgrounds.

-No sneaking out of the detention room!

-Any breakers of the rules will be held in the detention room in your scoutmaster’s cabin.

Uniforms

Boys’ uniforms consist of a tan, button-down shirt with a matching pair of pants or shorts. They have a handkerchief tied around their necks. Buck Scouts have the option of having short or long sleeved shirts. They also have the option of having either pants or shorts.

Girls’ uniforms consist of a tan, button-down shirt with a matching pair of shorts or a skirt. They too have a handkerchief tied around their necks. Doe Scouts have the option of having short or long sleeved shirts. They also have the option of having either a long skirt, a short skirt, long short, or short shorts.

I will sort your characters into their cabins.

6. You can pretty much do anything you want in this. No limitations.

7. I’ll control the Scoutmasters. You have permission to control other members of the staff.

9. Camp Elk is located in the Northern USA. Not sure which state though…

Physical: Jon's hair is medium length, sticking up a little bit at the front. His face is rounded, and he always appears to be alert, even though he is sleepy most of the time.

Bio: Jon lives in a normal sized house, and he didn't get out much, always playing video games. When he did participate in a sport, he was always the person who was targeted. Aside from this, he was the funny, popular person. He hasn't ever been in a fight, so he isn't very good in a fight.

Personality: Funny, shy, quiet, wimpy.

Physical Appearance: A chocolate-skinned, thin, slightly muscular teenage boy with shoulder-length dreadlocks. Most girls regard him as attractive.

Bio: Sergio was raised by his parents in California with his two brothers, and his mother is originally from Costa Rica. His mom speaks English and Spanish, but pretends to only know English to appear "more American", and refuses to teach her children. His parents forced him to come to camp elk in an attempt to break his anti-social behavior.

Personality: Though he is quite handsome, slightly muscular and intelligent, he is rather introverted and shy. It's pretty difficult for him to have a conversation with anyone because he fails miserably in social situations. He loves music, is a vegetarian, and is obsessed with tea.

Well, here we are again. May I say, I can't wait to give this another go, and hopefully we won't lose too many players this time, and hit the ending. I'm going to take a leaf out of Vivec's book, and use a very special character, in that it's me.

Bio: Born and raised in Birmingham, England. From an early age she has developed an interest in the arty side of life, and she strives for creativity over logic. She is a keen non-conformist, and dislikes being just another member of the crowd, preferring to be an individual. She was assigned to the camp by her mother, who worried about her becoming too anarchic.

Personality: Holly has always been a distinct individual. She has a varied personalit, that some may regard as strange. When enthusiastic about something, she will be keen, focused and disciplined, but when she is unhappy with something, she will be far less useful. While not overwhelmingly charismatic, she is social enough to befriend people and not hold grudges, although she can harbor particular dislikes for those who irritate her. Depending on her mood and situation, she can be quite chatty and social, or quite quiet, engrossed in thought. She is also quite zealous on matters she believes in, and tends to let the thoughts and troubles of the world flood her mind, but she is not particularly pessimistic about it.

He has a small nose with big eyes, his eyes looking extra large behind his glasses. He is not muscular…at all, and has noticeably skinny legs. His hair is very long and dirty.

Bio: Chris is…not an attractive kid. No, I mean really…you almost feel bad for him. He has had ONE girl like him in his entire life. What a pimp...
He has attended Camp Elk since he was thirteen. He is one of the only campers who actually takes camp seriously, and therefore he often gets on others’ nerves. He is a big time mommy’s boy, and he is the mirror image of his father. His parents don’t let him go to camp unless he has an overall average above 98 throughout the entire year.

Personality: Highly annoying, crushing on any attractive girl he sees, and a huge know-it-all. He is constantly correcting others’ grammar and bragging about his badges and unusually high amount of stars. Very intelligent, very annoying, very worth picking a fight with.

Those of you in the first CFI are definitely familiar with Chris Michaels. He's..."unique".

Hair Color: auburn, with a thatch of bright pink in front (she dyed it in order to make the "cool girls" in her class like her).

Eyes: gray; very large with long eyelashes

Height: I am not sure about measurements and things, but she is quite short for her age.

Weight: hasn't put on much weight since last year, still looks pretty pathetic

Physical Appearance (not including uniform): small and fragile, also has a tendency to crouch and shrink. Her hair is very thick, and of the kind that Shakespeare called "If hairs be wires". Wears round spectacles.
Uniform: long sleeved short, long skirt.

Badges: none yet, I think

Stars: same here

Oh, and I seem to have the same question as Veck. I never quite understood these Stars and Badges stats. I rather thought they'd be added later on, as we progress through the camp activities. But either way, I don't think my character will be the person to get any stuff like this.

Bio: Lucy lives with her young, extremely self-satisfied mother and elderly stepfather who dotes on his wife and does not take much notice of the kid. She is quite used to being left alone with her own thoughts most of the time, but she still longs to have a friend.

Personality: Well, she hasn't changed much. Quiet and prone to crying. Most of the time she just sits in the corner and stares, plunged in thought and probably listening to some New Age music on her player. Quite a brilliant student at school, save for the times when she has to answer at the blackboard. Also skilled with her hands, and whenever things need to be done, does them quietly, obediently and very carefully. Likes reading and drawing, but only does it when she is alone. Currently working on a comic book about teenagers vs vampires, much inspired by "Twilight". Naturally, she won't show it to anyone and hides it very carefully. Yeah, and she still has that rag doll of hers. Its name is Bonnie, and Lucy likes to talk to it at night about the things that worry her most.

Yes, the badge and star system is something I've taken from the first roleplay. I'll take that away from the character sheet. Your characters will earn them as the RP unfolds.

I'll let my cousin type up ad post his character here in a few minutes. And now that I think about it, Jack might make a cameo appearance in this roleplay. I don't know yet. I'll think about it. I'll probably get this rolling once Duh posts his character. Anyone who still wishes to join after we start can still do so.

Personality: Grant is very smart but can also be a bit of an idiot sometimes, although his intelligence can sometimes lead to him getting arguments with others

Who is Jack?

Jack Stardore is the most mysterious, troublemaking, and one of the most amusing characters ever to grace one of my roleplays. He is a muscular and handsome kid that you either love to hate or hate to love. And he is Chris Michaels’ arch nemesis.
Jack has an established hatred for “different” kids…or any other boys who pose a threat to his chances with the various women he fancies at the time. Don't worry. You'll like him. According to my calculations, he is 17 now. So this is his last year at Camp Elk.

I have a feeling Jack and I will get along quite well indeed.....

Here we go! Alright, she's no arrogant jerk like every other character I've ever thought up. I figure we'll have enough arrogance around here.

Physical Appearance (not including uniform): Isabella is a very attractive and beautiful girl with long red hair and a pretty pair of gray eyes. She has a decent build. She’s not weak, but she’s certainly not the strongest. She wears makeup on certain occasions, but she finds it uncomfortable and she usually goes without it.

Bio: Isabella was born to a poor Italian mother and an English father in New York. She is the oldest of six kids, and her parents focus most of their attention on maintaining a decent income to keep the family afloat instead of the success of their children. This leaves Isabella to raise her siblings almost single-handedly. And as a result, she is very mature and defensive of those smaller than her. Her parents sent her to camp as a birthday present to give her time away from her chaotic life.
Isabella wants to go home.

Personality: Isabella is very mature for her age and is highly defensive of the weak. Although her looks suggest otherwise, she is very quiet and shy and she blushes very easily. But she is also prone to extreme fits of anger, and she knows how to stand up for herself and others when it's necessary.

The bus on the way to Camp Elk was loud and chaotic. Kids were jumping on the seats, food and paper airplanes were flying from one direction to the other, and the bus driver was yelling every minute that passed. There were may campers this year...

It was raining out. Badly. Kids who feared thunder and lightning hated this type of weather. But Camp Elk wasn't too far away.

Saul sat quietly, despite the mayhem in the Bus. He looked out the window, Though the bus was crowded, and any seat was fair game, he was seated alone. mostly because he never responded to any attempts at conversation by the others. he just sat and thought...
He thought he saw a squirrel outside

Lucy crouched in her seat, with Bonnie safely tucked away beneath her jacket. Her knees were buried beneath reams of dishevelled paper. Frowning and sticking out her tongue with effort, she was trying to develop a touching scene where a vampire reveals his true identity to his high school buddies, but all the drawings turned out to be annoyingly wobbly. As she shifted her elbow, some of her half-crumpled sketches slid down into the aisle.

Sergio was sitting down, nervously looking around at the many people on the bus. Large groups of people usually made him suffer from social anxiety, and this time was no exception. Why the hell did my parents make me come to camp? ,he thought to himself. As he was complaining in his mind, he noticed some papers sliding into the isle. He picked them up, and looked at them for a few seconds, then handed them to the small, fragile looking girl sitting in the seat across the isle. "Not bad", he said to Lucy, in his slight accent. He then turned his face to the window, looking outside.

Not a bit mortified by the unknown big boy's rather impressive appearance, Lucy tore the drawings out of his hands with one sharp movement and dug them into the depths of the heap of papers on her knees. Blushing deeply, she asked in a shaky voice, "You didn't mean this, did you? You are laughing at me. You must be. Everyone laughs at my comic books".
