The office life is something of which there have been millions of parodies, satires, comics, and movies of. And there are many things comical in it, so many that I've decided to make an RPG based exclusively off this somewhat unreal view of office life. Your characters will be randomly picked to be a boss/underling of another character, but here's the catch: the CEO of this place - a huge, fat, balding man of forty or so - patrols the halls very frequently. He has a habit of switching his employees' positions at whim. So one day, your venom spewing boss might wind up quivering under your feet the next. At the end of the (RPG) year, the lucky ones who have held (or just gained) the boss spot on the very last day will earn a huge (fictional) cash bonus, and their very own luxury cruise. And I will make them a banner they can wear in their signature as long as they want to, to poke fun at everyone else ![]() I can promise lots of fun activities in this, some even possibly using a D&D dice roll to determine the outcome based on your character's office attributes. CHARACTER SHEET: Quote: Basics Name: Gender: Age: Appearance: Skills 10 pts to distribute among these. Organization: Smooth-talking: Concentration: Lying: Setting: Busy insurance company in New York, New York. Rules: -I'm the DM, blah blah. Ask me if you need help or aren't sure what to do. -Romance permitted. Keep it PG-13 ![]() -Stay in character. Don't start bossing around your boss unless you want to be fired, early. Which brings me to my next point. -If you act up too often, you might get fired, so be careful! -HAVE FUN!! Characters: I_am_one Quote:

OK here's mine: Basics Name: Walter Buchan Gender: Male Age: 43 Appearance: Crumpled shirt and a (just) too short tie, brown eyes and a fixed, thoughtful half-grimace. Ok! Let's begin! Here are your assigned statuses. Boss for customer service division: Roy Mansfield Underlings: Drathan Gervaise Jonah Potter Lilly McGriever Boss for fraud claims: Peter Martin Underlings: Finn DiMearo Walter Buchan Ella Megalast Burls Forever As a boss, feel free to order people around as you like. Do keep in mind that the CEO comes around occasionally and without warning, so that the tables might be turned on you unexpectedly. The office complex is on the third floor of the building. Imagine you're looking top down at it (I'll draw a map later). There are four offices on either side, the Customer Service people on the left and the fraud people on the right. At the front, in between the offices, there's a small elevator. In front of the elevator, there's a small area with restrooms and a water cooler.(Edit: map) Anyone who has yet to post their character should do it today, but we can go ahead and start. All OOC in spoilers please. |
