Since my other roleplay was a complete fart, I'm hoping this one will make up for it!
Summary of the Setting:
Thousands of years before the Hero of Oakvale, a massive kingdom existed. Later known as the Old Kingdom, the Kingdom of Albion stretched across outstanding amounts of land.
But these were dark times…
The Archons had become corrupted by their power. The Heroic blood that flowed through their veins had driven them into arrogance, hatred, cruelty, and evil. The first Archon, weakened by disease from his time in the Void, was practically imprisoned in his throne within the Royal Palace, watching his tyrannical descendents wreak havoc on the beautiful land, unable to do anything but choking on his own blood. His battle with the Court had been forgotten, and his valiant tale had faded into the mists of fairy tales. Through battle wounds and revolting disease, the first Archon’s life plummeted, and his disappeared without a trace.
The Kingdom declined.
The corruption of the new Archons doubled, with no great leaders such as William Black to stop them. A shadow unlike any other stretched across Albion. The darkness blotted out the sun. Civilians grew ill. Some were driven mad. Minor cities and villages entered multiple civil wars. Monsters arose from the minds of hell. Summoners, the satanic minions of the dark wizard Hallick, stormed the lands. Three out of every four men, women, and children were slaughtered at the hands of war or disease. A sixty-foot wall grew around the central city of the Old Kingdom, Aldya, in order to keep monsters and undesirables out, while imprisoning innocent civilians within. The Archons’ personal guards, encased in armor at birth, terrorized the people and enforced their masters’ totalitarian laws.
Finally, the Kingdom reached its chaotic peak. Seth, the last Archon, ordered a massive tower to be built in the center of the city that ran on Will energy alone. He called it the “Spire”. Seth’s surviving predecessors cheered him on, doing nothing to improve the situation.
If the Spire is finished, terrible curses may fall upon Albion. Someone must stand in the Archon’s way and stop the Spire from being completed. But the Archons are not the only enemies that will stand in your way. Other dark forces plot against the kingdom. It is you and you alone with must save the land of Albion from utter destruction.
The Setting Itself:
The RP is set in Albion during the days of the Old Kingdom, before the Hero of Oakvale or the Heroes' Guild itself. The age of the Old Kingdom was filled with the myths and fantasies mentioned in numerous books found in the game. These are terrible times. The sun is blotted out; in other words, no sunlight whatsoever. Diseases and monsters scourge the land. The Archons, specifically Seth, and their soldiers rule the kingdom with satanic minds and beliefs. William Black, the beloved first Archon, is gone. The construction of the Spire has just begun, and half of the Kingdom’s surviving civilians have been enslaved in order to build the spire at a quicker pace. There are no guns. Guns will not be invented for about another 2-3 thousand years in the Fable world.
This roleplay is set the middle of a rebellion. The civilians outside of Aldya are combating the Royal Army of Albion, and hope to stop the spire from being completed as well.
The Land of Albion:
Albion is not the same as it is the Fable games. The capital city is Aldya, which covers hundreds of acres of land. It is located near present-day Bower Lake. A giant wall is stretched around this city in order to “protect” its people. Outside the walls is Blackwood, a massive forest of tall, dead trees containing monsters once thought of to be only present in nightmares. Blackwood covers the mainland of Albion. Bowerstone does exist. But it is no more than a small village. Bowerstone is heavily involved with the revolution, and is one of the prime bases of the rebels. Talamir’s hut, a small straw home of an evil farmer known as Talamir, is located with Oakvale is in the games. Other major cities include Knothole Glade and Hook Coast, both appearing to be the same as they are in Fable 1. The Northern Wastes can be reached in this roleplay as well. The Wastes appear to be the same as in the game as well.
One last major city is Ctharja, where the ruler and close friend of Archon Seth, Wellow, resides with his warlords. It is very cold in this city, as much of it is covered in snow. This city is in the location of present-day Oakfield.
Albion itself is an extremely cold land, due to the lack of sunlight. The majority of the land is covered by a sheet of snow and ice.
All in all, there are villages - Bowerstone (where it is in the game), Jaur (in the location of present-day Bloodstone), Nuethar (the most dangerous of villages; where Darkwood stands in the games), Starkora (Westcliff), and Harpan (present-day Brightwood). Each of the villages support the revolution. But Bowerstone is the prime residence of the rebels.
There are major cities - Aldya (present-day Bower Lake), Ctharja (present-day Oakfield), Knothole Glade, Hook Coast, Snowspire City, and Necropolis. Each of the major cities are protected by walls and are ruled by kings and lords each loyal to the Archons.
Your Allies:
Rebels - These are the rebellious civilians of Albion who disagree with the Archons’ tyrannical methods. They are not Heroes like you. They are common citizens armed with pitchforks, rusty blades, and scrawny horses. Half of them are diseased. However, some will prove great allies during your quest to destroy the spire and the evil rulers of the Kingdom of Albion.
Mercenaries - These guys are tough, well-armed, blade-happy warriors who are willing to fight to the death…for a price. They, like the rebels, are not Heroes.
Traders - Traders are against the ways of the Archons. The Kingdom’s soldiers often beat or blackmail them for their goods. They will usually offer good deals to you if they know you are supportive of their cause. However, they are easily scared, and may rather flee from you instead of offering you their goods. They may offer you even better deals if you do them a favor…
Civilians - These are the common people of Albion who don’t possess the strength or the willpower to fight against the Archons. Most of them will be on your side, and some will even offer you either food or shelter in turn for a favor.
Your Enemies:
The Royal Army - The main military organization of the Old Kingdom. They guard every main city and are often found attempting to capture villages from the control of the rebels. They are not Heroes.
The Heroic Hands - The personal guards of the Archons. These are the elite soldiers of the Kingdom, having been dressed in armor from birth. Just one of them could take on 2 Heroes. A few of them happen to be Heroes.
Trolls - Yep, your favorite! The trolls return in Fable: The Old Kingdom. They come in four categories - earth trolls - the most common, rock trolls - common but not as common as earth trolls, ice trolls - only found near Hook Coast and in the Northern Wastes; they’re generally rare, and platinum trolls - the most rare and most powerful breed of trolls in existence.
Balvins - The ancestors of the feared balverines, balvins are twice the size of balverines and are stronger, faster, louder, and twice as aggressive as their descendents. They are either black, white, or red in color. Their bites are also extremely contagious…even to Heroes. So watch out.
Dragons - Natural enemies. They are often killed by Old Kingdom huntsmen. However, they are capable of mental communication, and it is possible for them to be shifted from enemy to close friend…
Gryphons - Half lion, half eagle; pure evil. They are often at war with the dragons, and are, unlike their flying cousins, unable to be tamed. They will not stop fighting until they are dead. They are carnivorous too, so don’t go calling them vegetarians…
Centaur - Half man, half horse; very neutral in nature. They are highly intelligent and very capable of speech. However, they have been betrayed by humans too many times, and usually attack on sight. They can be persuaded to give you aid though. For they are against the Kingdom as well…
Summoners - The evil minions of the wizard Hallick. They have terrorized the people of Albion since the days of the first Archon, and they don’t intend to stop any time soon.
Minions - The minions are a mysterious race who follow an odd man known only as “Stranger”. They are very dangerous, and will fight to the death for the protection of their master.
Wasps - A common insect of Albion. Weak when alone, but an unbelievable threat when in large numbers.
Bandits - Pretty much self-explanatory…
Equipment:
You start in the capital city of Aldya. As you stroll through the streets, you are taken aside by numerous traders who have set up shops and stands. You have 60,000 gold to spend. Put your equipment in the spaces provided in your character sheet. I’ll calculate your remaining gold. I got this idea from my cousin. This method seemed to work great!

These are some main NPC’s you may or may not come across in this roleplay. Only I can control NPC’s.
Friendly NPC’s:
Winston (the main NPC I will be controlling) - A wise old man and your guide for defeating the Archons. He is not a Hero.
Hal - A Hero who appeared upon Albion from distant realms. He wields unimaginable futuristic weapons and wears a suit of incredible armor. His equipment is so advanced that only he has the ability to use it. (This is the character spoken of in Fable II, a character from the Halo games).
Henry Groat - One of the main leaders of the revolution. He resides in the village of Bowerstone. He is a Hero of Skill. He is the most wanted person in Albion.
Elizabeth - The beautiful daughter of Archon Seth. She strongly disagrees with her father’s methods of ruling, and is against the completion of the Spire. She is a Hero of all three disciplines, being part of the royal bloodline of the Archons. Therefore, she is extremely powerful. But good in every way.
Pelena Smith - The daughter of a drunk and a prostitute, she leads a gang of female thieves in the city of Aldya. She has used her stealth and cunning against the Archon on numerous occasions. She is one of the most wanted women in Albion. She is not a Hero.
John Hackings - The leader of a small band of mercenaries. He is an extremely powerful warrior. However, he is not a Hero. He is against the Archons, but that doesn’t make his services free.
Huw the Giant - A mighty giant who wields the wondrous blade the Harbinger.
Unfriendly NPC’s:
Archon Seth - The current Archon, ruler of the Kingdom of Albion. It is he that order the construction of the Snowspire Oracle, the wall around Aldya, and the Spire. He is completely corrupted by power. He is a Hero of all three disciplines, and is one of the most powerful beings alive.
Archon Draco - A sinister ruler, and Seth’s father and predecessor. He believes Seth is even greater than the old Hero William Black, the first Archon and his ancestor. He is, like every Archon, a Hero of all three disciplines.
Archon Sythius - An Archon unlike any other. He ordered the execution of his mother after she slapped him in the face for being disrespectful. He is proud of both his son Draco and his grandson Seth. He is a Hero of all three disciplines.
Archon Mal - Archon Mal is, undoubtedly, the worst leader in existence. Although devilishly intelligent, many battles were lost to him due to poor leadership skills. He nearly allowed the Kingdom of Albion to fall to Samarkand. However, when his son Sythius came to rule, the Kingdom was rebuilt to its former power. He supports his great-grandson’s efforts to create the Spire in any way he can. He is a Hero of all three disciplines.
Talamir - An evil farmer residing in a hut right in the middle of nowhere. He is even feared by some of the minor beast of Blackwood! He has killed many wandering travelers who were seeking shelter in his hut. Talamir is not a Hero.
Wellow - The ruler of the city of Ctharja and the northern ridges of the Old Kingdom. He is a close friend of Seth, and remains loyal to his cause. He is the owner of Wellow’s Pickhammer. Wellow is a Hero of Strength.
Other NPC’s:
Stranger - Known only by the title “Stranger”, he wears a crimson hood and hides his face behind a blood-stained mask. He seems to be the master of the minions that thrive within Blackwood. It is unknown whether Stranger's intentions are good or bad. Stranger is a Hero of all three disciplines, but is oddly not connected to the Archon bloodline.
Thomas Nero - A renowned bandit and highwayman, he leads a large faction of bandits and robs wandering travelers who pass on the roads. Whether his intensions are good or bad is unknown. He is a Hero of Skill.
More NPC’s will be introduced throughout the course of the roleplay.

Just so all viewers and members considering joining know, I'm working on concept art right now. I'll post it on flickr when I'm done. I've already finished Elizabeth and a Balvin. Also, when the roleplay is over, I'm going to illustrate the entire roleplay and put it on flickr as well. So this should be interesting. We'll get to see how I picture your characters' appearances. So make sure you make your characters' appearances very detailed so that I draw him/her the way you picture them.
