Hello all, and welcome to an RPG I've shamelessly ripped off of one of my favorite Neverwinter Nights mods. Also, prepare for formatted text - it's easier to read.

It is, of course, set in Faerun, not long after the events in NWN (read here if you don't know the game's story, or don't want to play it). A group of uprising warriors named the Dhorn are slowly overthrowing all nobility and royalty across eastern Faerun. This is the story of the princesses, princes, and their beloved servants (this is optional, we'll see if anyone wants to RP a servant) as they attempt to reclaim their thrones.

A small underground organization, led by one Master Nathan, has taken root in the small city of Westwood. Its goal is to restore the young nobles to power before the Dhorn become too strong.
Here in Westwood, at the inn of the Dancing Boar, the members of royalty (and their possible-servants) work as regular members of society. However, a recent recall of some local Dhorn officials to the Dhorn capital of Obsidian has left an opening for anyone to enter or exit the city, with a little stealth.

A few important things before we start:

I encourage building relationships in this RP. Whether you decide to make your character incur a vendetta against, look up to, or even fall in love with another character, I strongly recommend you develop realistic interactions with the other characters.
I've combined the six D&D attributes - Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, Wisdom, Intelligence, and Charisma - into three. Strength and Constitution are Melee, and will determine a warrior's success in combat. Intelligence and Wisdom are Mana, or the success level/spells-per-rest amount of a mage. And Charisma and Dexterity are Flexibility. Not as catchy a name, perhaps, but it's supposed to mean flexibility of the mind and the body. Mostly these things will only come into play during combat, but they do have a few other uses. Charisma determines your character's attractiveness and persuasiveness, so put ranks into Flexibility if you want your character to be attractive/persuasive. Physically, that is. Intelligence plays a factor into recognizing items (like Lore in D&D) and figuring out puzzles. So, put more ranks into Mana if you want a clever character (even if you're not a mage), and so on.

As per the title, rogue skills will be very handy in this RP, as there will be many locks and traps. A tank is something optional, as there will be plenty of times where stealth and intelligence come into play more than combat.

The way I am doing combat is relatively simple. I roll a d20 for your combat roll, then add the modifiers (strength + weapon damage for warriors, spell damage + mana for mages, strength + Flexibility for rogue sneak attacks). If it ranks higher than the creature's AC, you do the amount of damage rolled.

One more thing! Rather than having a bunch of little weak characters fight little weak monsters, I want to have big strong characters fighting big strong monsters. Wouldn't you rather watch a baseball game than a t-ball game? The only thing this means is that your character will be powerful, but you will be fighting equally powerful creatures. So don't be afraid to be strong.

Okay, I lied. More stuff to read.

-In this RP, you *can* choose a companion character concept. So you can RP royal siblings, devoted servant and beloved master, etc. Send a PM to another person after they've posted their concept if you want to RP with them. Kindly don't say you're their servant or whatever without their permission. Purty please.

-Please don't RP another's actions, like "I grab my sword and force the person to the edge of the cliff after blindfolding them." You're assuming that a.), the person allows you to grab your sword, b.), the person doesn't fight back, and c.), they allow you to blindfold them. You can say you *try* to do this, but let them continue it.

"ENOUGH READING ALL READY VIVEC GET TO THE CHARACTER SHEET."

Okay okay okay!

He is the descendent of Fireae the Frozen, who began the Arcane Enlightenment of Syrieth nearly two thousand years ago. Umbirthar XVIII is the son of King Umbirthar XVII and Queen Cillet of Narta. He is two-hundred forty years old. He is the tyrannical master of Mankind in Syrieth. At birth, he was gifted with the name of a long line of purebred Elven rulers. He was raised in an incredibly hateful and racist environment. His father was the author of the book “Tainted Elves”, a prejudiced book concerning the lineage of Half-Elves. At age twenty, his father began the Purification, also known as the Greater Genocide. Every Human and/or Half-Elf in the entire city was enslaved and sold on the market, their homes being burnt to the ground in order to “permanently eliminate the horrid blood of the lesser races”. When Umbirthar was crowned King of Syrieth at age one-hundred three, he magnified these poor treatments to the Human slaves of his kingdom. The slaves were forced to build the Blue Tower - a palace composed of pure diamond and Mana. The tower took eighty years to complete. On the day of its completion, Umbirthar had six-hundred Humans slaughtered in the palace’s throne room. Umbirthar’s rule marked a period of success for the city of Syrieth. It became one of the most technologically advanced cities in Faerun.

Just two years before the invasion of the Dhorn, the slaves rebelled under the leadership of a Human known only as Seth. The rebellion failed, and Umbirthar himself decapitated the imprisoned Seth with his bare hands. However, the rebellion had heavily weakened the Elven military. This caused the city to fall to the Dhorn after six weeks of battle. Umbirthar escaped through an underground cave designed for the escape from such a successful attack against his military such as the Dhorn’s attack on Syrieth.

No, had some racy scenes but was mostly a hardcore adventure. Hellishly difficult in some parts.

:( I wish I had something to suggest, but unfortunately I find the D&D system easier to use in RPs. I'm surprised you haven't played it yet, you should go do that!

The best way to deal with those damn Dunmer is to be an Altmer. They're definately the 2nd most racist races in the Elder Scrolls game. Since they think they're better than everyone else, you get to be racist against everyone else. :Twisted Evil:

We should start soon though. I'm excited for this.

Alfred casually wiped the bar. He looked odd without his Armour, He said so himself. Even though he was trying hard to reclaim his throne, He had to admit he enjoyed himself. Suddenly a man came to him and ordered a drink. he looked a little sickly."What's wrong friend?"."A disease. i figure i might as well get a drink". Alfred cast a little spell on the drink."I'm sure this will make you feel much better"."Heh! i doubt it, thanks mate" Alfred smiled at his good deed. Happy to see he could still aid people at his position
