"...I am a prisoner of war; a war I never knew existed; waged by two groups I never thought were real - the Templars, and the Assassins..." -Desmond Miles

Assassin's Creed: The Revolution

When: (Modern Times) 2012, (Ancestor Times) 1767-1776
Where: Richmond, Virginia Assassin Hideout (Modern Times), The Thirteen Colonies (Ancestor Times), Boston (Ancestor Times), New York City (Ancestor Times), Densworth ([fictional city] Ancestor Times), Richmond (Ancestor Times), Jamestown (Ancestor Times), Lord Bennett's Estate (Ancestor Times)

Storyline: The year is 2012. The modern Templar organization, Abstergo Industries, suffocates the Assassin Order - searching for any member they can find and mercilessly ending their lives, without questioning their values of life or information. They search for the Pieces of Eden. However, at a hidden location in Richmond, Virginia, a team of Assassins get their hands on several Animus 2.0 machines. Even better - a small group of newly-joined novices (the novices are you guys), each with an ancestor linked to the American Revolution, offer their services to get in the Animus machines and aid the Assassin team in the finding of the Piece of Eden located in the eastern U.S. before Abstergo does. The Piece of Eden may remain in the same location as it was during the Revolution.

When put in the Animus machines, these novices will take on the image of their ancestors, under the command of Assassin leader William Hussain, battling both the corruption of the British Empire and the occupation of the Knights Templar within the original Thirteen Colonies. Among the Templar conspirators is Lord Leo Bennett - the most powerful English noble in the Colonies themselves. He owns his own Estate outside the city of Densworth, New Hampshire, guarded by many redcoats.

Characters

You must create two characters to join this RP - a main character living in modern times (2012), and an ancestor living during the years just before the American Revolution.

Da Rules

1. I'm the boss - yadda, yadda, yadda

2. Don't give your ancestor every single thing on the sheet (don't give him/her two hidden blades, and eagle vision, and a hidden gun). It would make him/her too powerful (duh).

3. Don't make any huge changes in the storyline without asking me through a PM first.

4. Have fun, d00ds.

Now join....OR I'LL ASK YOU TO JOIN AGAIN!!!! :P

Here's mine.

Modern Character

Name: Theodore Walter

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Weight: 174 lbs

Height: 6’4”

Nationality: U.S.

Appearance: A thin man with a pair of large glasses and a thick, black goatee. He has short black hair. He wears a light blue vest with a pair of black dress pants and shoes. He is, overall, a very ugly man.

History: Walter had always seemed to place himself where he wasn’t supposed to be placed. He often hacked into computer files, downloaded secret government films, and researched information not meant to be exposed to the general public. He actually spent much of his life on the run from not only the Templars, but from the Assassin Order as well. It wasn’t until he discovered Abstergo’s evil plans involving the Pieces of Eden that he completely took the side of the Assassins like many of his ancestors.

Psychological Traits: He is extremely jumpy, kind, talkative (to the point where it is annoying), and a bit of a pushover. However, he is extremely intelligent and knows how to sneak into and out of harsh situations.

Ancestor

Name: Blaxton Grosvenor

Age: 28

Gender: Male

Weight: 172 lbs

Height: 6’

Hidden Blades: 0

Eagle Vision: Yes

Hidden Gun: No

Poison Blade: No

Primary Weapon: Steel Cutlass

Secondary Weapon: French Flintlock Martial Pistol

Appearance: A very fair-skinned, muscular man with long black hair tied at a small ponytail and thick, well-kept sideburns that reach the middle of his jawbone. He wears a high-class black vest with white sleeves that are rolled up to his elbows. A blue cape flows from his shoulders, baring the Assassin symbol wreathed in gold. He wears a pair of black pants with a large belt that carries a steel saber on his left side and a flintlock pistol on his right. He also wears a pair of tall dark brown boots.

History: Blaxton was born to the wealthy Grosvenor family of France. When and why he traveled to New Britain is unknown. It is rumored that his parents were Templars themselves, and that Blaxton disagreed with their beliefs, fleeing from his family’s grasp and joining the Assassin Order to liberate the Colonies from the harsh control of Great Britain and the Templar occupation. He is known to be an incredible thief.

Psychological Traits: Extremely intelligent, focused, brave, and strong-willed…yet a bit talkative himself. Unlike his many decedents, he is not a pushover at all.

Height:5'10"
Nationality: American - Mixed French and English heritage
Appearance: Lean build from years of cross country and track running. Bullet scar under his right ribs. Long, shoulder-length hair split in the middle. Dark brown eyes.
History: Born in lower New York in 1989. His parents lived lavishly in the countryside, and he was brought up well. When his parents were killed in a car wreck in 2005, he moved in with his uncle who was a large conspiracy theorist, with many theories on the Templars. At 19, he moved to inner-city Richmond, where he still resides.
Psychological Traits: Very cynical and paranoid, as well as secretive. Demanding attitude. Very harsh critic.

Jeez Louise, you keep making new Roleplays :P

Can I save a spot? Have to go soon, and I need some time to think up my character.

I like yours, King. Very detailed. However, if this one closes prematurely, I'll have to stop joining ;)

This one won't close early. It's come to the point where I'm sick of making new roleplays. I raise my hand and swear that there will be no new RP's until this one either dies, is finished (where the RP actually comes to an end), or if two or more people drop out.

EDIT: Raven, you may have a spot reserved. Just don't wait a few weeks until you post a character
I've had this RP ready since the end of January. I just wanted to save it for Easter time (don't know why. Holiday RP's usually are extremely unactive.). I couldn't wait any longer though.

You should probably know a little bit about Assassin's Creed to join. If you need information on it, here's a link to the Assassin's Creed Wiki. Just check out the storyline, and see what the Knights Templar and the Assassin Order are all about. Here's some of the weapons too. You don't have to use those weapons, as this RP is based on the Revolution, not the Italian Renaissance.

Just a heads-up: Average height in the 1700's was ~ 5'6". People weren't tall. ;)

The average height in the Third Crusade was even lower, but Altaïr was 6'. There's always exceptions  .

Another rule suggested by Biotechnic - USE PROPER GRAMMAR!!! It is annoying when people never capitalize their letters at the beginning of a sentence, or just capitalize the first letter of just one random word in the middle of a sentence for no specific reason. Not to be mean. It's just the new rule

Yea, yea, there are, but when every assassin is drawing attention like Batman at a Marvel convention, they're not doing their job too well.

Alright, people. While all of your characters are great, they all have one thing in common - eagle vision. We need at least 2 people to give it up. I'm going to give up my character's eagle vision. We just need 1 more person to do so as well...

I don't know why a guy wielding a two-handed Scottish sword and a primitive shotgun would need Eagle Vision

(This post is in jest, in case it couldn't be told)

Thank you for being the noble one, Biotechnic

So, mine and Bio's characters no longer possess the "magical" vision. Good! Now we can work together as a group. I'll reveal the first RP post tomorrow, as BH may join (I PM'd him asking him to join).

Well drats, now my guy has no magical skills! Oh well, I'll go edit my post.

EDIT: I was talking about The Raven's post, in case you didn't get the joke... I dunno, I think a guy with a rifle and a scope would be pretty well off with a good eye, eh?

Oh, sorry 'bout that! You can keep your eagle vision.

In fact, you can all keep your eagle vision. There won't be many cases where you'll need to use it anyway. But there will be some!

Anyway, first post coming later today.
