"Where to? Fire or the cave? Did you tell them to check the cave, while we look to the potential fire?"

"I forgot to tell them about the cave. I'm more curious about that smoke, it won't be there forever, unlike the cave."

A louder whisper rang throughout the beach. "...Not the Bible..." it whispered, almost mockingly. "...No...Not the Bible..."

Ray had spotted the awkward group but had opted not to reveal himself, first desiring to scope out the island without making contact with the others. He thought it may prove very beneficial to have knowledge the others did not; additionally, seeing as the one boy- as Ray saw him- was injured, he could obviously maneuver through the jungle more quickly alone.

For now, he waited, having hidden himself in a shroud of plants where the jungle met the sands of the shore.

"A bible?" Calvin said, frowning. "What bible? Who said that?" His tone turned fierce, ready for a fight.

"Lets go." Tim started to walk in the direction of the smoke. After a while, they got near the smoke, it was only about 30 yards away, yet he still couldn't make out what it was.
"By the way, whats your name?"

Calvin nodded approvingly. "That's more like it!" He ventured several feet into the Jungle, unafraid, to find a walking stick.

Breaking from her reverie, Fiora darted towards the jungle behind them and grabbed the first long stick she saw on the ground, then tossed it down over to Zach. Her sharp eyes were now on alert after the whole situation with the Bible...the whisperings had her on edge. She wasn't really a religious person, but she figured she would have known if it was supposed to be a holy voice...and that didn't really sound like a holy voice.

Smoothing her hair back, she straightened her blouse and searched for another long stick, then took her prize to search for a stone to sharpen it with.

Calvin sneered at Fiora. "I'm going into this jungle." He announced and picked up a rock. "We need to eat, or at least, I need to eat." He said, "And I'm no vegetarian."

Zach grabbed the stick and struggled to his feet.
"Well, now what?"

Calvin heard Zach and called out from the jungle "You could always hunt, or gather wood!"

Fiora wasn't quite sure why she was being sneered at.

"I agree, we need to eat...but we have no guns, obviously, and improvisation will be needed." She studied the forest floor carefully for signs of spoor from any animal she might be familiar with.

Spoiler:
You got a walking stick for Zach while Calvin was already going to do it.

Calvin searched for signs of life.
"TWEET-TWEET-TWEET!" The Colonel chirped. "Shhhh!" Calvin hissed. He saw a foot long lizard of some kind on a large boulder. He went up to it and waited for it's reaction. It had none.
Calvin smiled to himself and smashed the lizard's head in. He grabbed the body by the tail and headed out of the jungle.

"Tell your bird to shut up," Fiora muttered as Calvin headed away, trodding along through the underbrush. She found a sharp rock that would suit her, and she began to sharpen her makeshift polearm thoughtfully.

Güney is the first one to check the ashes. "Ashes are still hot, however the fire is gone. They are close. Still there is no signing of a camp except the ashes and burnt woods. Dead-end if you ask me. It's already dusk. We should return to the others. Hope they found some food.

Zach made a decent pile of wood. He opened the book to try to tear out the pages, but was surprised to find out that the pages where as hard as stone and where not going to come out
"what the hell"
He threw the book and looked for a good tinder
