Wait,what if i don't get lucky?I'm a mage,I'll be completely defenseless

You can now buy Invisibility for 500 gold . Don't update your stats until everybody is ready though.

You have 500 gold left so you can try to buy another spell (you need to roll 1 but you can do several attempts for different spells).

Awesome,just telling everyone since we have a few offensive mages,I'm going to be somewhat support.though i will have shock damage

So if I'm doing this correctly, I can buy Frost Damage for 1500? (Out of my price range )

"Hey guys..." I asked everyone, trying not to sound like a beggar. "I'm going to need 500 more gold to buy a healing spell. The guy in the shop said I need 1500 gold to buy it, but I only have 1000. Could someone please loan me the money? I'll pay it back when I get the chance."

As the others turned to do their buying, Nu'Wai slipped his hand into the dead member's pockets and fished out a sack of gold. He quickly put it into his pocket. Surely it could recoup his previous losses.

Nu'Wai asked the shopkeep about an Open spell, but found he was unable to afford it. He re-approached the trader and inquired about Invisibility. At this point, he strode from the store. He was not a bargainer. Outside, he leaned himself on the wall and grabbed his hatchet from its sheath. He also unpocketed a sliver of wood and began to chisel away at the piece of timber.

At the end of the speech, Lortanton followed them into the market. Roland figured to follow suit, and placed his book back into the sack. He started for the market.

Nicolas ignored the rest of the group, loathing the ways of Magic almost as much as the existance of the High Elves. He crouched down about ten yards away from the group behind a bench as shifted through his sack. He slowly pulled out a large, beautiful crown lined with silver, gold, diamonds, and rubies. It was the corwn of the passed Queen of the Allied Kingdom. It was so beautiful. Sneaky Jack stared into its shine, his mouth watering with admiration.

Lononance wasn't fond in the ways of magic. But nevertheless on a mission like this he decided that it was worthwhile purchasing a spell. Since he trusts his crossbow more than any spell he decided a spell that would aid the group was the best way to go. Entering the first spell shop he saw he asked for a spell of unlocking but the shop keeper was asking far too much.


He exited the the shop thinking the shopkeeper was trying rip him off and walked to the darker alleys of the market hoping to find a better deal. No luck, the stockly little human owner of a back alley shop tried to pull the same trick on him when he asked for a spell of light.


Being unable to find the rest of the group to ask for a loan he decided spells could wait. With a heavy puff he sat on a rotting bench somewhere in the centre of the market, took out his crossbow and went on giving it a check over as he always does. Tightening bolts, checking springs. He was only ever felt happy when he was lost in the mechanics of a machine or invention.

He sat next to him and asked"So,how did you end up here?"

Lomonance looked up from his crossbow, suprised to be approached by the elf that carried the staff. He asked how he had ended up on this mission.

"No real reason. Buisness has been slow at my shop". This was true, he did not hold the same kudos as his father making him seem like any other blacksmith. He continued "I was feeling like an adventure so I went out to check the mercenary board and I guess I was spotted by one of the king scouts. He asked me if I was interested in this job. I accepted and well the rest is preety obvious". Lomonance asnwered, trying to keep the story as short as possible. "What about you, how'd you end here".

Taran listened and replied"things were getting boring and i thought this would be an exciting thing to do.i work as a teacher by the way.teaching young mages"Taran looked towards the shop,waiting."So where did you come from?i come from a small town a little north of here"

"I came from a fair sized town just to the south-east. There's a lot of smiths there making buisness hard and I couldn't afford moving somewhere else". Lomonance answered. "You say you come from a small town, I bet its quiet there, I would love a quiet little shack in a small town. It would give me peace and quiet to work on my inventions".

Lomonance thought for another question to ask, "A teacher, hmm I wonder if I would be a good teacher".
