'Hmm... Not much... But I suppose this will have to do. I shall take Feather Feet, Frostbite, Firebite, Shockbite, Poisonbite, Drain Blood, and a bottle of some Hydra Poison' Damon said as he dropped all 100 of his coins onto the counters.

Damon then grabbed the clerk by his collar and glared at him, saying: 'And trust me when I say, if I have any problems with these spells, you'll be the first to know.' He then let him go, but kept his eyes on the clerk.

"Yes...yes sir." The clerk gulped audiably. "As for you," -he pointed at Aias-"we don't know where the bows came from or what they are made of. We found them at one of Artemis' temples a few weeks ago, so it's possible they're a gift from the goddess herself." He brushed his shirt off. "Here are your spells," he said as he pushed some scrolls towards the group, "and here is your whip," he handed humbly to Zenon.

Hunter, I'm so sorry /face Forgot to post the whole system. Here it is:

For combat methods, weapon/spell damage rolled, Strength/Intelligence/Willpower modifier added. This is then compared to the enemy's attack roll, and if you roll higher, you do the amount of damage you rolled. I'm not going to put in AC modifiers ATM.

Your total HP will be your strength, times three, plus Endurance. Also, your total encumbrance (how much you can carry) is equal to your strength plus endurance, times two.

Your personality multiplied by 5 is the person's disposition toward you. The closer it is to 100, the better price you will get. For instance, someone with 0 personality will have to buy the item at the base price PLUS a tax of 10 gold. Someone with 5 personality will have to pay a tax of 5. Someone with a personality of 10 pays just the base price, and any higher than that gets a discount of (personality divided by 10) x 1/5 of the item's base price (with gold rounded down).

Luck will be basically what happens to you throughout the story. A lucky character has a higher chance of finding a random weapon or random loot. Also, for small actions like lockpicking, and somewhat random actions like dodging, luck will come into play. The formula will be for me to roll a d100, and if your luck times two is greater than or equal to the roll, you can roll double for the action.

Agility will come into play for two things. The first is the free action of jumping. For instance, someone who's character has an agility of 2 posts "Mark jumps on top of a nearby wall and fires arrows at the enemy." Big no-no. If Mark's agility is 5 or more, it makes more sense. The second thing agility will affect is dodging. The damage of your opponent's hit would make is rolled against your agility times two.

Intelligence will factor mostly into spell casting. Your intelligence times 3 plus your willpower divided by two equals your total magicka. Magicka can be used to cast spells, with more difficult spells taking more magicka. The difficulty of the spell is rolled against your magicka when you attempt to cast it. If you succeed, the spell drains the amount of magicka you used to cast it. If you fail, it counts as an action, but you are not penalized magicka. Magicka can only be replenished by resting or potions.

Intelligence also factors into Lore and Lockpicking. Lockpicking's formula is simple: the difficulty of the lock rolled against your intelligence plus the level of your lockpick. Lore, however, is not so simple. I will roll your intelligence (and lore modifier, if you have a lore book) against the difficulty of the riddle. If your roll is higher, I'll PM you with the answer. If it's not, I'll PM you saying it isn't, and you have to guess for yourself.

Finally, persuading. There are four kinds of persuasion: Bribe, Intimidate, Admire, and Taunt. Personality will determine the success of these (though a reasonable bribe is almost certain to succeed). Formula for the Intimidate, Admire, and Taunt die is personality divided by two plus 10. The roll is then compared to the personality plus five of the person you are trying to persuade. To taunt an enemy to attack, it takes two consecutive successful taunts. The die for Bribing, on the other hand, is amount of bribe plus personality, compared to the person's Intelligence. This makes bribing a very useful form of persuasion, except against creatures with high intelligence.

Alexis motioned towards the clerk. "I'll take God Bite, Hestia Heal, a bottle of Hydra poison, and Soulpinch please."

"I'll take it, then," Aias replied, quickly handing over sixty coins. He leaned across the counter and whispered into the owner's ear. "Don't worry about these guys. They're just macho-men. I don't think they'll come back for you," He chuckled

The shopkeeper grinned nervously. "Thank you m'lord. Anything else I can do for you, fine adventurers?"

Abraxas looked at the scroll that Aias had hande to him. "By Maxelas! The Sky Charter!!! Young man...you have no idea how important this information is to me! You see...I believe that I've come to a conlusion that this world is in fact round, and that it orbits around the sun with an entire series of other worlds!"

Abraxas placed the scroll within the pile and picked the entire pile up itself, holding the scrolls in one hand and the large sword in another.

"No, my friend." Abraxas said with a grin. "That would be all. May the Owl God bless your journey in the realm of the storming Greece!" He put his mask on. "Shall we move on?" he said to the adventurers.

"Mount Olympus awaits us." Hector said to his fellow adventurers

"It would be unwise to charge into a dust-consumed Greece without the advice and instruction of one who truely knows how to reach Olympus itself." said the voice in Abraxas' mind.

"This is true, my Owl Father." said Abraxas, a little louder than intended. "But who would know such things?"

"Did you not listen to the priests of the Olympian temple just before? Such things are foolish, my mortal hatchling. Go to the merchant...and ask for such information."

"Parden me, my Lord, as I intend to deliver no disrespect to your humble intelligence, but could you not just tell me what I must know and allow us to move on with a greater pace?"

"I am angered, mortal...I am angered by your words. You've lacked the mental attention to bring thought to the words of your accociates - hte priests of Athens. And now you blend my frustration with the begging of a common mortal. I am not your servent. You are mine. Use this wisdom I have granted you, my hatchling, and rest higher in the ranks of body and mind."

"Yes, my Owl Father." Abraxas turned to the merchant. "One question, though. How is it that we shall reach the peek of Olympus?"

"It was no problem," Aias laughed, bowing respectfully to the old man. He turned back to the store owner and pulled his mask up. "I'm ready when everyone else is."

"Is it not obvious? We walk." Hector laughed slightly at the old man, and turned away to look out over Greece. "Mount Olympus is a mountain like any. Do not seek advice from that crazy voice in your head, old man, whatever it is. Instead, use your common sense."

The anger engulfed Abraxas' entire series of emotions. Just for one second...just for one second, he thought of unsheathing the golden blade. But he held himself back, and remained civil. "Greece has become flooded with natural disaster. Seeing a man or woman no more than an inch away from your face has become a great challenge at this point. Yes, we will walk. But we may need equipment." He paused for a second. "...And never mock my thoughts again!"

"Let's get going then," Astraea said impatiently. The constant bickering between Hector and Abraxas was getting on her nerves. "Personally, I agree with Hector. Let's just climb the mountain and see what happens."

The merchant shrugged. "I know nothing of such matters."

Alexis cleared her throat. "I happen to know a widow near here who knows much. They say she is a seer of some sort. I recommend we visit her first."

"Any infomation we can gather on the subject shall be vital so i say we should get going"

'Well, I'm not sure about you people, but I'd like to get this whole thing over and done with, so I say we talk to this supposed "Seer". So, quickly finish whatever the hell you are doing and lets go" Damon then started tapping his foot impatiently, as if his very life depended on leaving the store as soon as he could.

"I'm with Damon on this one. Let's go," Astraea said, sidling over to the door.

"Coming," Alexis said, stuffing her purchases into her pack. "I know where the widow's house is, it's just outside of town." She covered her mouth and nose with the cloth again, and pushed out the door.

The voice in Abraxas' head rang a loud, satanic laugh. Abraxas smiled and laughed as well. "Lord of wisdom, and madness I suppose."

He slid his mask over his face, picked up the scrolls and the golden blade, and headed out the door with a grunt.

Deimos headed out with the group in the direction of the oracles house.
'I wonder if this women really can see what we will have too face' He wondered outloud.

Aias slid his arm between the bows string and limb up to the shoulder. He turned from the store, slid up his mask, and followed the others.

Abraxas was once again shocked by the storms of dust. He, again, founded it to be difficult to carry his large amount of scrolls in the terrible winds.

"Now," he shouted to the others, particularly Alexis. "Which way is this widow's home!?"

"That way," Alexis answered, pointing her finger towards the edge of town. "Once we're finished there we can be off, I guess."

I'm going Legolas-style for arrows, i.e., there's an endless supply. They'll just accompany the bow as a set.

Zenon jumped off a cliff and died.
