Aythu skirted out of the cabin, making a show of snarlig pointedly at gudrun before running out of the cabin, seeking refuge in the hull of the ship, sulking in the darkness.

Mount Kand

"He's kinda creeping me out." Llela whispered to Llevana, about the still-as-a-stature Argonian before them. "D'you think he went into ash-shock or something?"

Mount Kand

"He's been standing still for days minutes..." Llevana said. "I think we should just move on. He'll find us if he wants to. He knows where we're going."

Mount Kand

"Can we take his stuff?" Llela asked hopefully. "I kind of smashed my crossbow off that Cliff Racer's noggin..."

Mount Kand

"Are we sure he's...gone?" Llevana countered. "I mean. Damn, this is so weird.

Mount Kand

"Let me check..." Llela said, reaching out one finger. She lightly touched the Argonian's orange eyeball, causing the fly that had been resting there to buzz away angrily.

"Yup. He's pretty out of it." Llela confirmed.

Per followed Aythu to the hull, closing the trapdoor behind him. He made sure no crewmembers were listening before asking: "You're not seriously gonna do as she said, are you? She'll never try and help cure you."

"Like I don't know that!" Aythu hissed. "I need your two "Darkys" for that! If I survive for that long. I am this close to just going up there, ripping her throat out and just disappearing off this ship right now!"

"That doesn't actually sound like the worst idea, ya know. The throat-ripping, I mean. All the crew can't be loyal to her. I still got my armor and weapons. Kerin will help, right? I've made it through worse odds."

"Dunno..." Aythu said. "I'd much rather try my luck at simply running for it. I'm not an animal."

She looked at Kerin (Presuming that he's there too).

"Although I probably acted like that to catch him."

She shrugged.

"I suppose he'll help. I don't know exactly how long it's gonna take before he stops being entranced."

Kerin simply smiled when Aythu looked at him.

Mount Kand

"Well, okay..." Llevana said. "I don't really think taking a paralyzed Argonian's stuff is the greatest idea you've ever had, but okay."

They proceeded to loot everything Mint-Tongue had, except for his clothes. Seeing a nude Argonian wasn't on either's to-do list.

"Well," Llevana said after they were done. "Let's uh...let's get going, then." She sounded a bit uncomfortable. She was wondering if Mint-Tongue was actually lucid.

The Ship

Per and Aythu noticed the mute Bosmer, Deimos, leaning against the brow a bit further off. A faint smile was on his lips, saying I heard.

Aythu bared her teeth, scrambling to her feet, beginning approach the Bosmer.

"Get. Out," she said.

Deimos's faint smile grew into a malicious grin, as he turned on his heels and walked away. Oddly enough, he didn't steer for the captain's cabin, but instead went below deck.

Aythu continued after him.

"Come back here!" she hissed after him as she went after him below deck.

Deimos stopped and turned around, crossing his arms as Aythu approached him. His expression conveyed amusement as to the vampire's contradictory phrases. He tapped his foot on the deck. The crew members who were in hearing range seemed to grow tense, though they didn't look up from their work.

"I'm not letting you go tattle to that b*tch up top, you know that?" the Dunmer hissed irately.

Deimos lifted an eyebrow. He had been going down, below deck, while Gudrun hadn't left her cabin within the last half hour.

He shrugged, turned around and resumed his descent.

A grinning Llela looked through her loot.

Mount Kand

"You...don't like him very much, do you?" Llevana asked.

"I've nothing against him, per se, though was vacant and kinda creepy in the best of times." Llela said dismissively. "Plus, he hurt someone over a measly crossbow. That's not a thief, that's a damn thug."

She shrugged. "Well, enough of that. Let's get going before sleepy-scales wakes up."

"He never explicitely said he hurt someone for the crossbow..." Llevana muttered. Nevertheless, she didn't object further.

The loot consisted of a shortbow and some arrows, a few pieces of not-so-valuable jewlery, and a scroll. Upon reading the scroll, Llela discovered that using it would summon a Storm Atronach to fight for her.

The boat

Aythu went after Deimos, staying a few feet behind him.
