I am personally not too keen on it, Impy...

But I'll let Eltee decide.

Also, Pomcey, it's nice that you have made a language for your nation, but please type translations as well.

Well...

I haven't got anything against cavern cities.

It's the interconnected cave system I'm questionable about. 'Cause, you know, it would be nigh impossible for anyone to get you in there.

Isn't a cavern city a cave system?

I know this might be a question for Eltee, but are the mountains all rocky? Or are there little flats of land high up?

Finally done:

Nation's Name: Brothers of Oten
Home Species: Minatours
Capital City: Khelsin
Leader(s):
Name:Merakius Virra the Invincible
Sex: Male
Age: 37
Species: Minatour
Appearance: Merakius is easily 8 feet tall. He has gold coloured fur and is covered with blood red tattoos. He has two large horns and a such a powerful posture and body structure he can easily take on 10 minatours at a time.
Personality: Merakius is ambitious, strong willed and very aggressive. He can easily lose his temper if provoked or insulted.
Background: Merakius was born in a small hunting village and he eagerly joined the military. Merakius became famous by killing the traitorous previous High General of the nation. He then challenged the Great One of that time and easily defeated him. After 5 years of his rule he has proven himself to be the true successor of Vrahkir.

Nation's History and Background: The Brothers of Oten began as a bandit group of minatours that went around pillaging the south of Norstwin. They were created by Vanil Varian in 1,943 O.T. but back then, it didn’t even have 20 members. The first time The Brothers of Oten became well known was in 2,037 under the rule of Vrahkir Marnkius the Supreme. Vrahkir led The Brothers of Oten on many conquests and formed a little nomad group into a fully fledged nation.
Under his command The Brothers of Oten’s land spread so far, that they single handily ruled the southern half of Norstwin. But after Vrahkir’s death, their land decreased and all that remained was a big chunk of Norstwin's rainforests. The degrading stop, however, in 2,347 and since then, the mighty minatours have been preparing for war.
The Brothers of Oten live in tightly packed communities where physical strength is valued above all. The nation’s armies don’t have a flag or banner, instead, they show their alliance by painting themselves with blood red tattoos.
Additional Information:
Leader: The leader of the Brothers of Oten is called The Great One and they have power over all the villages and the land that falls within their border. The Great One is always right, The Great One comes only under Caadan and his great priests. The Great One resides in the grandest city, Khelsin, from where he rules. However, The Great One relies on chieftains that rule individuals settlements to carry the smaller rule within the given settlement and land that it owns. A minatour comes to power by challenging the current Great One (if the given minatour is well known) and has a fight to the death in the Great Arena. The victor becomes/remains the Great One. If the Great One is to unexpectedly die, all the chieftains of the nation are called for a meeting to decide the next Great One. Mostly war heroes are chosen for the job.

Crime and Justice: As The Brothers of Oten are very barbaric, the death sentence is carried out for almost every crime. The offender is allowed to have a choice, execution or fight for their life. If they chose to fight they are sent to the great arena in Khelsin where they are pitted against the Butcher; a 10 feet tall abomination with 3 giant horns and a mouth that can eat a human whole. The Butcher is created by un-known methods by the high priests of Caadan every time the current Butcher dies. The Butcher is the strongest minatour of the generation, and sometimes they are brought along on important conquests. If the offender kills the Butcher, they are set free. This has never happened.

Religion: The Brothers of Oten is a very religious nation, they believed that if they don’t worship Caadan, they will lose all their strength and might and be sentenced to eternal torture. In every settlement there is a church, chapel, shrine which is home to many priests and priestess of Caadan. Khelsin, however, is home to the Great Oten’s Cathedral who is run by the High Priests of Caadan. These priests have more power than The Great One.

Villages and Cities: Citizens of this nation live in tightly packed communities . They mostly live on the coast or at the borders/edges of the rainforests. Only hunting villages pop up in the middle of the rainforest. Normal villages have stone walls whilst hunting villages have tribal, spiked log walls.

Notable Cities:
Khelsin: Khelsin is the biggest city of the nation, it is home to over 350,000 minatours. It is loacated on the South-West coast of Norstwin. Khelsin has a very good defence location, it is situated on a large hill on a field, a kilometre or so from the rainforest. It has massive 15 metre stone walls and the main gate is a massive victory monument transformed into a gate. On the southern side of the hill, there are many mines which you can access via the shadow gate, a much smaller victory monument that has been transformed. On the coast there are numerous fishing huts. In the centre of a city lies a stone circle (Stonehenge basically) that is very sacred and only used in important festivals. Next to it is the Great Oten’s Cathedral, and also the Great One’s house. It can easily house 200 minatours and is home to the Great One and his family, amongst many servants.
Seriraka: Seriaka is the military hub of the nation. It big enough to house 300,000 minatours. Instead of a true city, it houses most of the nation’s army instead of normal citizens. The city is rather dull, barracks after barracks, blacksmith after blacksmith, the only notable building is the High Generals house. Seriraka is home to the greatest generals of the nation, and they live in a massive longhouse there. The walls of Seriraka are stone and 10 metres tall. In front of the walls lie spikes which keep out attackers, and on the walls many corpses are hung to scare off attackers. Seriraka is situated along the southern river that cuts through the rainforest.
Merhaus: Merhaus is the religious hub of the nation, home to many priests and pilgrims. Its current population is around 100,000 , at the city itself is on the southern coast of Norstwin. It has tall marble walls and in its centre lies the Basilica of the Lord. A massive courtyard leads to it, surrounded by massive marble pillars with great fires on top of them and in the middle lies a big fountain. The basilica itself is a slightly bigger than the Great Oten’s Cathedral. It looks a lot like St. Peters Basilica irl.

National Anthem:
Spoiler:
Blood, Blood, rip out their guts,
Feast on their corpse,
And slaughter their young,
Burn their households,
And pillage their land,
Rise, o’ rise,
Brothers of faith,
Rise, o’ rise,
Brothers of Oten,
Crush all those who stand in your way,
For the glory of Caadan,
Nothing shall stand in our way!
Nothing shall stand in our way!

Pray to our lord,
Polish your hooves,
Sharpen you weapons,
And kiss your wives goodbye,
Our nation is going to war!
No matter the day,
No matter the rain,
No matter of our enemies strength,
We will strike them down,
And let our glory be known,
For we are the ones,
To rule this world,
Nothing shall stand in our way!
Nothing shall stand in our way!

For as we were a bunch of wild beasts,
Vrakhir stepped up,
With the blessing of Caadan,
He united us all,
And created the greatest nation of all,
In Khelsin he ruled,
Upon his mighty iron throne,
Spreading the teachings of Caadan!
Nothing shall stand in our way!
Nothing shall stand in our way!

Even though darkness spreads,
And our empire has fallen,
Our great and proud nation will never give in,
For with the blessing of Caadan,
And weapons on our shoulders,
Nothing shall stand in our way!
Nothing shall stand in our way!

Place on Map: A big chunk of Norstwin's rainforest.

Well, Imp, that's kind of what I wanted :P the land below the tundra. --As I've edited into my posts, I now would like north/northeastern Veyna.

Yeah, sorry, I did a cave system thing too. I'll scrap the "tunnel" thing, so it's more wide open caverns and stuff.

Edit: Oh man, I've been dumb. I don't know why, but I've been thinking of mantises like...Buggers that the only fertile females are the queens. I have much editing to do...

Done.

Nation's Name: Ululula
Spoiler:
Home Species: The Minotaurs

Capital City: Ashibibi Nine-Hooves

Leader(s): Grand Chief Bull Asphodel LXIII, Ancestral Axeman of the Great and Holy Oten, Master of the Thundering Horns

Nation's History and Background: Ululula is called by some the homeland of the minotaur race. Here, they live in megalithic cities: maze-like stone fortifications built when Astrum was young, according to the Ulululaans not by them, but by "someone", in the veneration of almighty Cadaan. The oldest parchments say that the Minotaurs were the guardians of these ancient city-states, terraced hilltops that were building and crop field alike. Yet now, the temples, plazas, and aqueducts are all but ruined, mere skeletons of marble and graven stone, faded like distant memories. But in the time-worn fastness of their labyrinths, the hardy Ulululaans live and thrive.

In Ulululaan society, there are four tiers, which are subject to constant change as herd members distinguish or disgrace themselves: The lower herd, comprised of only the weakest and the elderly who were unaccomplished in battle; the upper herd, which is those warriors in active service and the elderly who were of merit while still fighting; the Bloodband, those Minotaurs of unrivaled martial talent, who are selected to join an elite class of warrior-priests, dedicated to Cadaan; and the Thunder Horns, which usually only includes the herd chief, his harem, and the herd's high priest. Of the Minotaur nations, the Ulululaans are generally the most feared, as they are the ones considered most savage. Their mighty Bloodbands hunt the lesser races with a ferocity unmatched by even wild beasts, drenching themselves in the blood and devouring the flesh of their fallen foes. Indeed, the surest way to identify a member of a Bloodband is by the dark crimson hue of his fur, combined with the ritualized war-spirals, designs based heavily on the design of their home labyrinth and drawn with white paint made from ground bones. However, any creature who bests a member of the Bloodband in fair combat will be named kin of the Minotaurs, and afforded the privileges in Ulululaan society of highest rank. They also lay heavy stock in axes, the more ornate and unique, the better. Chiefs are identified by their tribe's signature weapon, usually an ancient thing as old as the very ruins in which they make their homes. In general, the more axes a chief has, the most powerful he is. Curiously, the Ulululaans usually forgo such weapons when fighting each other, preferring in these cases brutal, yet simultaneously marginally less lethal, unarmed combat.

Additional Information: Ululula is governed by a total of nine chief bulls, each master of their own herd. Eight of these lords answer to the ninth, usually the largest and strongest among them. He has proven himself against them all in single combat, and likely will many times again before he is at last displaced when he grows too weak and old to rule. When this occurs, ritual suicide is expected, whereupon the masses will inter their fallen chief in the great mausoleum at the center of Ashibibi Nine-Hooves.

Ulululaan Labyrinths of Importance:
Ashibibi Nine-Hooves - Largest, most intact, and most magnificent of all the Ulululaan labyrinths, the capital is a sight to see. Surrounding by great blue canals, the water pours from a central spring which wells from the top of the pyramid. Though not the sprawling marble palace it once was, the many majestic structures still lend a certain air to the place. Arrayed around the central spring is the Court of the Nine Hooves, a place distinguished by the nine massive hoofprints arrayed in a circle around the spring. Like all Ulululaan cities, the underground is a massive network of passages and chambers, though how the spring still manages to run to the top is a mystery worthy of investigation.
Herculeas's Sentinel - Located on Veyna's western shore, Herculeas's Sentinel is the first line of defense, should a foreign army ever choose to retaliate the Ulululaans' hunts. Named after the mighty Minotaur war hero Herculeas, its chief wields the fabled Herculeas's Cleaver, said to be second only to the Axe of Asphodel. The populace is remarkably naval for the Minotaur race, and their farmers maintain massive kelp and seaweed farms offshore.
Narunatiti: A substantial fort on the foothills of the northwestern mountains. Due to the difficult nature of the native soil, Narunatitians rely on the other labyrinths for most essential goods.
Athenanini-Garzol: Located more or less in the center of Veyna, Athenanini-Garzol is a central trading hub in Ululula. Its most remarkable feature is its massive bazaar, which offers a huge selection of foreign goods, sold from street vendors, trading caravans, and permanent shops.

Place on Map: Basically the middle of Veyna. Ululula is bordered by the lower part of the northern river and then runs in a straight line west to the coast, and is bordered to the south by the southern river.

Name: Grand Chief Bull Asphodel LXIII, Ancestral Axeman of the Great and Holy Oten, Master of the Thundering Horns
Spoiler:
Sex: Male
Age: Forty-Three Summers
Species: Minotaur
Appearance: A particularly massive specimen, even for his kind. His fur is black, more than a little shaggy, and kept well-groomed and shining. His burly arms are adorned with bracelets of precious metals and stones, crafted by the masterful Ulululaan smiths. From his chin sprouts a long beard, which is braided ornately. His eyes are deep and piercing, and of deep jade. However, his most distinguishing is the not two, but four horns that project from his skull, and total nearly six feet across. From his nose hangs a simplistic nose ring, which is connected by a gold chain to a ring on his front right horn.
Personality: Aggressive and almost foolhardy in his courage, Asphodel is at the same time governed by a strict personal code. While he does not lead his herds to actively hunting the other races, he does not dissuade them from it, and those that stray into his lands are fair game. In battle, he is a sight to see, drenched in the blood of foes, a ferocious, bellowing war cry seemingly always on his lips. While unmatched with an axe in his hands, he is also a master of unarmed combat, using both battering fists and hooves and his four horns to devastating effect.
Background: Born the son of a distinguished member of the Bloodband, Asphodel, or as he was then called, Philusandre, was a true Minotaur from a young age. Once he entered the military, he was a force of battle soon recognized, and by the time he was twenty-five, he had taken the chieftainship of his birthherd. When the murmur that the previous Grand Herd Chief's health was fading began to spread amongst the Nine Hooves, Philusandre was the natural candidate. He was unopposed in his slaying of the previous chief, Cronus XXXIV, and so took the name of Asphodel, in deference to the great chiefs of old. So it was that Philusandre became the youngest Grand Herd Chief at the mere age of twenty-six summers.

Dang, that's a lot of Asphodels...

Is that the only thing the rulers are named?

No, but most chiefs only remain chief for a few years at most. Asphodel LXIII would be considered very exceptional.
