I didn't look at any other character sheets before making mine, but I've been trying to work my way through all the races in RPs. I think Orc and Khajiit were the only ones I hadn't done yet, so I chose Orc. In fact, I was thinking about making an Orc ever since this RP was announced.

It'll be interesting, I'll tell you that.
Gideon, what's your stance on someone (a la me) controlling two characters, at least for a short? I was thinking Ra'ziir would have to be fought at some point in a vampiric state, but if you're not cool with that, he could be dead. Either way would work for dramatic effect.

I don't quite understand what you're saying. Could you re-phrase it?

Do note, however, that as you progress through the storyline, you'll gain access to minions that can be controlled by you; armored trolls and war hounds for the Dawnguard, and gargoyles and imps for Vampires.

I prefer making my character before looking at other submissions, honestly.
In real life, you don't get to change yourself depending on the people around you. If everyone around you is white and you happen to white, that's how it is. -shrug-

That's exactly what I did. I just personally found it strange that's all I was saying. Good examples though.

Basically, would you be okay if Ra'zhar's brother, Ra'ziir, takes part in the story later as a member of the vampires? Or would you prefer not to have that

Yes. You'll have the option to split off after the first quest.

I was going to post my character sheet now, but this laptop screwed me over and deleted half my work. I will post it next time I'm on my desktop. That is, if recruitment is still open?

Okay, this is subject to withdrawal if I find my plate overflowing before/ in the early stages of this RP.

Username: Gandalf

Name: Jar'Lulum (Jar for short).

Race: (standard ten, plus Reachman) Argonian.

Sex: M.

Age: 41.

Birthsign: The Thief.

Appearance: Blood red scales over his body, with some paler ones on his chest and around his cheeks. Green-yellow-ish scales along his stubby snout, mixed in with purple-blue. His hair, or spines, go along his head in orderly lines, like thin soldiers standing in ranks.

Personality: Always one to approach slowly (usually with an arrow knocked), he shuns society. He is almost always alone, and has honed his skills in stealth by spending years by himself. An adept hunter, he believes he can slice his way out of any situation he could get himself into. This bravado was, of course, brought on by the fact that he hasn't been around people for a long time, and his natural thinking that he is almost unbeatable.

2 Major Skill: Sneak and Archery.

2 Minor skills: One-handed and Illusion.

Backstory: Once a soldier in the Argonian guard force, he decided the law wasn't exactly for him. After going rogue, he spent some time in the marshes of Black March before heading north through Cyrodiil and into Skyrim, with a few minor scrapes and run-ins with guards and petty bounty-hunters along the way. When he got to Skyrim, he took up working in the Riften Docks, as a way of settling down. Not long after, he was driven out of Riften on account of his "acquiring" of a rather shiny necklace in the Black-Briar Manor.

Equipment: Steel Sword, Steel Dagger, Hunting Bow, 10 Iron Arrows, 70 Steel Arrows, and a set of Leather Armour.

Spoiler:
45........ S. Sword.
18........ S. Dagger.
50........ Hunting Bow.
20 (x7)........ S. Arrows.
10........ I. Arrows.
75........ L. Cuirass.
50........ L. Helmet.
25........ L. Gloves.
25........ L. Boots.
60........ L. Greaves.
__
498. Right? 2 gold left?

Spells:
Novice: Healing, Frostbite.
Apprentice: Muffle, Fear.
Adept: N/A.

Jar will be joining the vampires.

How's this?

Remember, if I do a Bilbo/Steve, then it's subject to being dropped out. Otherwise, YAY!

#This is gonna be fuuuuun!#

@Baloth: This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in an RP, and I think it fits here:

*steps forward* I'm an Argonian! *steps back*

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not but between missions and the such, will we have time for rests where we an develop our characters? I mean like talk to the others and sort of live a life or are we just going to be running through the forest hunting vampires/dawnguard?

If there were no character development Gideon wouldn't have asked for personality and backstory ;)

I figured as much but when I said running through the forest hunting vamp/dawn I meant with talking along the way as well.

hunting while talking is rather silly, you would expose your self to your prey.

If it comes to it, will there be NPC tanks for either side?

Okay here is my character sheet:
Spoiler:
Username: NovaPowered

Name: Anaril

Race: Altmer

Sex: Male

Age: 157

Birthsign: The Mage (diverse I know)

Appearance: Anaril is a short Altmer, just being taller than the average human. He has long, red, flowing hair which reaches his shoulders. He has a much darker tint of gold for his skin and his eye colour is one green, one blue. He has smooth skin and long, slightly rounded ears.
Personality: He is a smart and cunning Altmer. However, he is known of being cocky and foolhardy meaning he normally gets into things he can’t win in. But, his expertise in the Destruction and Conjouration schools of magic and his slight dips into Restoration and Illusion means he normally comes out of situations like this without much harm done (to him that is).

2 Major Skills: Destruction and Conjuration.

2 Minor skills: Restoration and Illusion.

Backstory: Anaril was born in Alinor (Summerset Isle) where he lived with his father and mother in a humble home. But due to his father carrying out biological experiments with his physical features made him into a bit of an outcast. He spent most of his young days travelling around Alinor with his father. But one day they were attacked by bandits in which his father was badly injured. That’s were his skill in Conjuration and Destruction magic shone. By using a mixture of Summon Familiar and fire magic he defeated the bandits. As he watched his father bleed, his father told him to use restoration magic to save him. Instead, a sudden rage overcame him and he burned his father to a crisp.
In shame he travelled across Tamriel seeking a purpose for his life. He decided to settle in Whiterun, where he lives to this day.

Equipment: Apprentice hood (200), Apprentice Robes (200), boots (10), healing potion (45), magicka potion (45).

Spells: Destruction: Fireball, fire rune. Conjuration: Conjure Frost Atronach, Bound Battleaxe, Raise zombie. Restoration: Fast Healing, Steadfast ward. Illusion: Calm, Muffle, Courage.

If anything is wrong, please point it out. Anaril will be a straight up mage, but he will use Bound Battleaxe if the enemy get too close. (But he won't be too good at close combat  )

It seems I have the only human character!

Spoiler:
Username: EpicAbrad

Name: Adrianne Articus

Race: Imperial

Sex: Female

Age: 22

Birthsign: The Shadow

Appearance: She has always been considered attractive, in a dark, alluring sort of way. She is tall and thin, with long black hair and intimidating grey eyes.

Personality: She cares mainly for herself, and is usually quiet around others, not engaging in much conversation. She seeks adventure and excitement in life, but power as well.

1 Expert Skill: Destruction

1 Major Skill: Sneak

2 Minor Skills: Illusion, Conjuration

Backstory: Growing up in Bravil, she always had a love for adventure and excitement. Her parents died in a fire when she was 6, though, and after that it seemed no one cared for her. She began to explore Cyrodiil on her own, developing selfishness, as well as a goal for revenge, as a result of her bitterness. Finally, she arrived in Skyrim, looking for a new adventure.

Equipment: Novice Robes, Novice Hood, Mage's Ring, Boots, Gloves, 2 Minor Healing Potions, 1 Healing Potion, 2 Minor Magicka Potions, 1 Magicka Potion, Iron Dagger

Spells: Destruction: Fireball, Lightning Cloak, Frostbite... Conjuration: Reanimate Corpse, Conjure Flame Atronach, Bound Sword... Illusion: Muffle, Fear

Perks: Augmented Flames, Impact

Indeed, oh well. It's not a contest to see how much we can write for a character.

Wait, we're supposed to decide whether or not we're a vampire ahead of time?

We don't necessarily have to decide beforehand, I (for instance) just wanted to make an "evil" character.
