Heh, same here," Katie replied. She spat out her toothpaste and rinsed her mouth. "Not sure what I'm gonna do after though. Probably not as fun as I'm hoping it will be, life."
She stopped for a second and considered whether she was getting a little too profound.
"Anyway, I'm ready now. Thanks for the help. I appreciate that." She smiled and waved as she left the dorm, "I'll say hi if I see you round."

"Yeah..." Mario held up the middle finger to Rich. "Screw off, 'tough guy'."

Jon stumbled off his bunk, hitting the hard floor below. He gently woke up, and noticed the time. He slipped on a red polo shirt with tan plaid shorts. He grabbed his pack, and went over to eat. He poured a small bowl of cereal, and walked out the door. He walked over to see two people standing.
"Hi!" Jon greeted them with a smile.

"Alright." Melissa replied. She headed outside, far behind Katie. She was glad to make a new ally in this terrible school. Near the fountain was a new boy...foreign, no doubt. Beside him was a pair of two muscular seniors that appeared to be arguing. "What's going on?" she said, approaching the three with an eyebrow raised as she twirled her fingers through her hair.

"Well Madame," said, emphasizing the french word, "Jamie and I here were just talking while he" Richard continued, looking at the "gangsta'" decided to treat Jamie like a little kid, along with throwing in a racist comments," Rich finished.

Jamie twitched at the unpleasant person touched his head and made some strange comments about his country. "I believe you are a.... a... "bully", he said, checking with his notebook. He was quite familiar with bullying, which was the plague of schools in his country. At home he used to show the bullies some little tricks he had learned, to keep them in enough pain to lay off him. He was not quite sure what one did with bullies in America, though, so he decided to ask. "I wonder, would you like me to twist your arm behind your back?". Waiting for the "bully" to answer, he carefully shook hands with Rich and gave a polite bow to the new people that had approached him. "By the way," he added, addressing Rich. "I misunderstood your expression. Please excuse me".

Bio: Parents divorced, raised by father. Avoids extra classes and activities, enjoys study hall. Unaffiliated with any gangs or cliques in school.

Personality: Calm, yet aggressive when provoked. Ignores insults or mockery, very calculating.

Melissa pushed Mario. "Don't make fun of him!" she scolded. She couldn't stand punks like him...

Katie quickly packed her bag and swung it over her shoulder. She strolled past the fence just outside the school boundaries, where the seniors had their fag break before entering. She waved at them as she passed, and made her way over to the yard, where she planned to loiter for the next half hour or so until the day started.

"Oh, damn!" Mario said to Melissa with a grin. "You've got some muscle!" He turned to Jamie. "So you're a little ninja kid, huh? I know martial arts too, buddy. I'll snap your neck if you try anythin' ninja-ish." He couldn't think of the right word. Mario knew combat well. "See ya, lil' Jap." he said with a laugh, rubbing Jamie's head for a second time.

When he turned around, he witnessed something he had seen the year before. Katie Paulson - she was hot, liked music, and something Mario was known to like. He followed her calmly.

Katie settled down on the grass, and pulled out a book she had been reading. It was McCarthy, a little too educated for the standards she kept up, so she tried to be discreet about reading it. She'd barely wrenched the page open when she looked up and saw a boy strutting towards her. She sighed, and put the book back into her bag, ready to be frustrated.

Mario approached Katie, his earphones still pressed into his ears. Removing them, he leaned up against the tree. "Ah, Katie amato - ha bisogno di alcuni...società?" Mario loved speaking Italian to girls.

Jamie looked at Mario thoughtfully, following him with his eyes as he approached a girl reading a book. So, he stated he knew martial arts. That was good. Jamie was frustrated that there was no such club at this school and longed for an opponent. Besides, who did this person think he was, saying inappropriate things and walking away like that? Jamie raced after Mario, overtook him and stood between him and the girl. "I challenge you to combat," he said solemnly.

"And I callange you to get the hell out of my way." Mario replied, rolling his eyes. "You little Asians need to take some chill pills and settle down. You may wanna study the 'arts of the English language' too, killer. Now put one foot in front of the other and head back to the damn school efore you get yourself in trouble."

Richard walked up to Jamie, just as Mario told him to leave. "Just let it go. This racist bi-...Pig, isn't worth it," He said, subsituting his words for one Jamie would more easily understand, and hopefully not question.

Jamie was quite taken aback, but his face didn't show it. What was it with this Mario person? Was it a custom in America to fight with insults rather than with your skills? Jamie checked with his notebook. There was nothing about that there. He decided to follow Richard's advice and leave Mario be - for a while. Just as well, he didn't want to be late for his English class. "See you later, o honorable rude American!" he said, and it was not quite clear if he was mocking Mario or sincerely being polite. "See you later, Richard!" he added. "I will gladly take leave of this person as you told me and proceed to" - he glanced at his notebook - "The class of the most honorable Mrs John-san".

Katie looked on in shock at this odd display. Although she didn't know what was going on, it gave her a fhance to slip away from this arogant boy without actually having to communicate with him in any way. She quickly got up and moved out while the argument commenced.

RIIIINNNNGGG!

Steven's alarm blared at exactly 7:50, as he messed up setting it the night before and hit the hour button one too many times.
"Wa- I... FICK! IST ACHT HEUR? NEIN!" yelled Steven as he scrambled out of his bed and ran to the dresser. After grabbing some clothes and throwing them on, he grabbed a snack bar from his desk and ran out the door of his dorm and out the dormitory, into the courtyard.

I'm [&@%!] that this died. But I think I've worn out the whole arrogant character thing.
