Martin moved the musket to the opening that looked down the street. He shoved his face into the scope and scanned the crowd for the target. His mark was finally found, but he kept his aim hovering over the hooded man.

James knew that they obviously couldn't follow Deparish, and the Monk, into the street, without being spotted, so they would have to climb to the rooftops.
He rose from the bench, and began, slowly and as un-suspicious as he could, to walk over to the nearest building with access to the rooftops.

Mathieu got up from his spot and walked after the Monk. He was sure to keep his distance, but wanted to make sure he knew where they were headed.

"Thing have changed since your last visit here, Monsieur!" the monk said in a whisper.

"The Church can maintain the attention of the citizens. They have no idea what we're up to!"

"And how is this a negative fact?"

The monk looked up into Deparish's eyes. "The Owl fears that we are no longer alone here."

"Why would he think of such odd possibilities?"

"He thinks...that there are some who intend to get in our way."

"The Owl says this?" Deparish said with a frown.

"Yes!"

"And who would be so foolish as to stand in our way? It has been hundreds of years since we have been given such power!"

"SHH!!!" the monk looked around once more as he stopped in the middle of the street. "Do not be so arrogant, Monsieur. For others have effectively stood in our way before..."

"Who would stand in our way, Brother Hart?" Deparish said, continuing down the street leaving the old monk to catch up through a run.

"The Owl believes that the...the...Assassins may possess a presence here in the English Colonies!"

The three continued around the corner of an old shop. Blaxton motioned for the other Assassins to follow them.

James climbed, with difficulty, since his claymore had gotten loose and cut through his clothes, and every time he jumped, he risked his claymore cutting him in the leg, to the rooftops.
He couldn't see any guards so far, so he sneaked over to the edge.
He had a chance to kill him right now, but that would bring them, and the mission, in trouble.

James tried hard, but wasn't able to listen to their conversation.

"Damn," Martin muttered, pulling his musket in and descending the staircase. He ignored Sam, hoping he would follow him. He walked into the street, then cut into an alleyway, where he broke into a run. He slowed as he appeared on the other side. His eyes scanned around for a vantage point, but were unable to spot one. He walked up the street, the way Deparish and the hooded man were walking.

Blaxton blimbed up the old shop with very few people granting him any attention. A few of the citizens made funny comments, calling him drunk, or a foolish boy. But the Assassin simply did not care. He got on one knee upon the rooftop, above the Templars. Around the corner was a dark, narrow street that was filled with rats and dirty water. The street was completely empty as well.

"The Assassins!?" Deparish said in anger. "Impossible!"

"Anything can happen, Monsieur. But this time, we cannot fail! We must watch the ground of which we walk on. Keep your eyes open! For we could be within the sight of one of the damn enemies right now without even knowing it!" There was a long, strange silence. Deparish put a hand on his forehead. He knew that trouble was ahead. "Well..." the monk said. "I must go."

The three men folded their hands and bowed to one another, each of them simultaneously saying "May the Father of Understanding guide you."

The monk left the alley, but the soldier and Deparish remained, as did the street's emptiness. "What are we to do!?"

"I'm not sure." the soldier replied.

Blaxton knew it was his chance, as well as the chance of each of the other Assassins. He motioned the other Assassins to come forward. The true assassination was to begin now. He quickly unsheathed his sabre and leaped from the rooftop, landing upon the soldier. He plunged the blade into the soldier's throat. To Blaxton's suprise, the Deparish was able to unsheath a sabre of his own. But the shock of the attack damaged his reflexes and made him too slow. Blaxton whipped out his pistol and pointed it at the Templar. "I am quite sure what to do, Monsieur Jaques Deparish."

"Your cape...An Assassin!" Deparish shouted.

"Drop your blade, or suffer."

"Haha! As if you would kill such a valuable target! The identity of my masters will not be revealed to your order without me! Besides...if you were to fire that musket, the soldiers would rip you apart!"

"You are no fool, Templar. But I am not alone. My comrades crave the blood of your kind - the Templars. I suggest you answer my questions, or suffer the pain of their blades and bullets as well."

"Never!"

"Don't even think about crying for help. We are trained to escape even the most dangerous of situations. My fellow Assassins are close behind. I suggest you answer our questions now."

James saw Blaxtons heroic entrance, and decided to jump down to him.
He drew his blunderbuss, and made sure the Templar knew, he couldn't be saved.
He also revealed his claymore.

"As you can see, Monsieur Deparish, there is no chance that you can be saved."

"But you can be granted a quicker, less painful death, Templar."

"No! I will tell you nothing!"

"We will refuse leave with nothing, Frenchman. Either you give us answers without pain, followed by a quick, merciful death - or give us the liberty of forcing answers out of you, followed by a long, slow, fatal punishment of torture."

Martin edged to the corner. He heard a thud, and peered around to see Blaxton and Deparish in a stand-off. He pulled his musket around and aimed it around the corner, choosing to stay unknown.

Good idear!

"You'll get nothing out of me!" the Frenchman shouted.

"Hmm...So confident...Come, James! Why don't we show this Templar scum how serious we truly are." Blaxton kicked the door to the old shop open. It was empty, all but a few crates. The shop itself was small, both the walls and floor being composed of stone. Rats ran across the floor, and into the shadows. Blaxton threw the Templar to the middle of the floor. "Take the dead guard's body in as well." he said to James. "Why don't we give this little Frenchman a lesson on pain?"

Martin ran to the door and grabbed one of the guards legs, waiting for James to help. "Now what?" He called into the shop nonchalantly.

"Now..." Blaxton said, picking up a large metal rake from the corner of the shop with an evil grin. "Now we get some answers out of this Monsieur."

Deparish had lost hold of his gone, yes - dropping it on the floor near the door. But he still had the nerve to stare right into the Assassins' eyes.

James helped get the dead French soldier inside.
After Blaxton's long and painful torture of the Frenchman,James was eager to hear if he had anything to say now.
"Got anything to say now? Templar [&@%!]."

The Templar was bleeding heavily from every limb. "Yes. Now it is time for answers."

"Fine..." the Tenmplar said, breathing heavily. "I will tell you what you must know."

"Who was the monk of which you had spoken to at your little meeting?"

"It was...It was..." Deparish found it difficult to speak. He was losing massive amounts of blood. "His name is Brother Thomas Hart..."

"Is he a Templar as well?"

".....Aye....."

"How does he tie into your brotherhood? Take your time, Frenchman. I understand the lose of blood."

"...He controls the....He controls the civilians through his...through his connections with the...Church of...England..."

"How?"

"He has the favor of...the Abbot Nicolas."

"Who is this Nicolas?"

"He is...He is..."

Blaxton then realized that Deparish was about to die. "Enough. I shall learn at another time. Now to the most important question; Who is this 'Owl' you spoke of?"

"The...Owl...is...the leader of the brotherhood...You know him as........you know him........" Deparish's head fell back upon the floor, his eyes open and crossed. He was gone.

Blaxton bent over his corpse. "Rest in peace, Monsieur." He closed the Templar's eyes.

Suddenly, a voice was heard from the doorway. "HEY!!! Who are you!?!?"

The Assassin's turned to find a redcoat standing in the doorway. Blaxton pulled out his pistol and shot him in the head. "Go! Split up and scatter into the city!" He ran out the doorway and climbed the building at the other side of the alley. Many, many redcoats were outside, most of them firing their weapons at will.

((Time to pwn some guards, run across some rooftops, and GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!!!!!))

"Dammit all," Martin sighed, looking around for Max. The blunderbuss would come in handy now, but he'd have to make do with the rifle. He shot out the door, hitting a guard in the leg, and followed Blaxton out the back door. He turned the opposite direction and jumped over a low fence. Turning street after street and avoiding gunfire on the brick, he finally broke into the woods. He continued running for a few minutes until he was in a small clearing. He sat down and reloaded the musket, waiting for something to happen.

James didn't have time to sheathe his blunderbuss, so he still held it in his hand when he stormed out of the house. He shot a guard in the guts, and ran.
I can't climb with my blunderbuss unsheathed. Too hard. Have to stick with the ground

When he finally thought he had outrunned them, he ran into an alley. Unfortunately, he stumbled into a couple of redcoats in the alley.
He tried to fight them off, but one of them managed to shoot James in the leg, before he had his neck snapped.

James humped over to a door, and banged his hand hard against it, while he yelled at the door.

"Let me in! Sir or ma'am, I need your help!"

Damn....

Alright - I have only one loyal poster remaining. But having this locked would just destroy my RP reputation, as it is already extremely damaged. So, we'll just let this die. Honestly...I'll have to think about another RP idea. Anyone that may want to join, just post here and bring this back to life.

In a nut shell, this RP hasn't ended. It's just been paused for a time where there will be more people who will want to post more often. Thanks, mates! I will begin thinking of ideas  .

Hey guys, kinda new here!

I'm aware that this roleplay have been inactive for almost 2 months now....I was wondering if there still people willing to continue with it or start a new one, as I loved the games and am actually VERY interested to roleplay as an assassin! And if it's possible, could I join this roleplay?

Just say the word, and I'll post up my character sheet!
