Valmen was quick to react, the Argonian had barley finished his sentence when he was hit by a Paralyzing bolt. "I'm sorry for that, precautions you see," he leaned down "who are you Argonian?"

But he was already fairly certain of the answer, above them, Azura's palace loomed, the gates no more than 20 paces away.

Once the effects of the spell had worn off, Heer-Kun sat up and replied, "I am Heer-Kun. I'm here to serve Azura, for the time being. Her intentions are for me to bring you to her now, assuming that is your reason for coming here."

Valmen reached up to scratch his cheek "For the time being? Interesting. Very well, take us to her."

Heer-Kun stood, glanced at Valmen, then strode to the wonderfully decorated gate ahead. After a few moments it slowly opened, revealing a stunning courtyard. "Follow me, through here," he directed.

"Truly beautiful," he whispered "mind your fingers Casimir, and your tongue Slytharel, and Gary, respect for a Daedra Lord is tantamount if you want to survive the encounter. Old Eye," he glanced at the apparently mute Dunmer "you should be fine."

Slytharel rolld his eyes and patted the head of a bat that had crawled out of his sleeve. "If a Daedra Lord is so foolish enough to strike me down for the use of my words, they are not worth my time. I will speak as though Azura is a common woman...or man, if looked deeper into the heart of the Daedra ways. After all, she is no more than any other Daedra to walk these realms - no greater than a scamp."

"My hands, eh? So teeth and feet are fine?" Casimir remarked with a chuckle.

"Heavy sarcasm...one horrid feature of thieves for which I shall never like or truly understand." Slytharel whispered into the bat's ear. It flew off into the sky.

"Hey guys, wait up for me." said Aregog. He was running to catch up. He had bent down to fix his pack and next thing he knew the others were walking away.

"We learn to have pretty good hearing, too, mate. But I'll let it slide, since I like your type. Dark, mysterious, and lots o'luggage. Make for good killers, and that's fine by me." Casimir flipped his sword around and slid it into the sheath on his waist.

"Keep your blade sheathed. While you may not mind my presence, I do mind yours, you Waterfront dwelling fool.

gary put his bow on his back and drew his cloak tight about him as he followed the group

"Well, what are we going to do when we get to Azura?"

"We ask for information of course. Despite my many studies, I still have no idea how to I would reach Mephala's realm. She can point us to treasures Casimir, and there's a possibility that she many know about Aregog's father."

Valen's eyes went misty for a second "She is also the most hospitable of princes, I used to be one of her worshipers, a possessor of her sacred Star."

"Ah, good. I am hoping she knows a little about my father. But I am not sure if it will do me any good now. It has been a year since I have seen him."

"Hmm...A year is about enough time for a body to fully rot. Now, tell me - How will you carry a pile of bones back to Mundus without dropping a rib, or perhaps the skull?" Slytharel laughed and brushed a bit of dust off of his sleeve.

"If azura would allow it I wish to pray to her. I am in desperate need of another cloak. One that can withstand the trials of mother nature without needing repair" gary said to the group

Heer-Kun pointed towards a corridor to the right and spoke quietly. "Right through here. Please, do not raise your voice at Azura."

Valmen stepped into the grand chamber. The ceiling was open, the twilight poured in, but a light far greater was shining. As The Queen of Dawn and Dusk turned her gaze toward him, he jerked away from it, overwhelmed by beauty and bitter memories.

"Go, speak to her," he husked "I need a moment to compose myself."

"Ah, so you are the Daedric 'Queen of Dawn and Dusk'?" Slytharel said with a sharp tongue as he entered the room with his right arm hanging down to his waist and his left hand over his coat. "Does the sun rest in your hands and the moons on your shoulders? Or is that just a simple work of fiction that pictures you as a great goddess?" The bat from before flew into the room with a large, beautiful flower gripped in its claws. It dropped the flower into the hand of its master. Slytharel kissed it on the head and let it crawl back into his sleeve. He stared at the flower for a few seconds. "You hold many exotic plants here." He then caused a flame sparked from the use of his magicka to burn the flower to a crisp. "But none fit to my liking. I had once read that the beauty of this world was so great, that it was potentially harmful. Tell me - Why do I keep my sight as one of my fine senses without blindness and remain unaffected by your realm's views?"

(Uh, did we ever sort out how these kinds of interactions were going to play out?)

((I could just drop my character and play the Daedra d00ds))

(I guess, but that leaves two characters unocupied , mabye we can take turns being Daedra as well as our pre-existing characters.)

((I'll be honest with you - I forgot how much it sucks playing the jerky character. Taking turns playing the Daedra would get confusing. We could just have Slytharel get killed by Azura for his stupidness
I'm in the mood for some Deadra roleplaying anyway.))
