Delighted with himself Ben picked up the money and weaponry putting them both in the hidden pockets of his cloak and strode off back to the ship. Finding a seat in the lower deck, Ben took a couple of bites out of one of his bread rolls before trying to see if he could fix the broken canary head.

Yalun jerked backwards in shock. "I see you." He finished. He looked at Nero and willed the forgien objects in his body to be expelled.

Jason stared at the scene, without emotion. Blood, he didn't care for it. He saw so many injuries, so many dead in the past he didn't care anymore.

Nero was barely out of his teens, he was screaming in pain, his long black hair was matted with blood, his dark skin scarred and shredded to an unbelievable amount.

Before Vex could even start healing Nero a cannon ball rocketed through the back of the clipper ship. Wood splintered everywhere, Nero was still screaming, Vex was launched backwards, Yalun slipped and banged his head against the floor, Jason fell down the stairs and fell unconscious, everyone else seemed okay.

"We're under attack! If you're not willing or able to fight, get the hell off the ship!" Cornelius ran for one of the gatling gun emplacements.

Ben jumped up when he heard the sound of the cannonball rip through the ship, stuffing the brass skull into his pocket, he ran over to check out what had happened.

Yalun shook his head dizzily, he didn't want to be using magic in the next while. His hand moved to his multitude of bladed weapons and his pistol. He stood up, using the cane for support. "What is happening?" He asked dazed.

Hooper screamed, "[&@%!]! Get off the ship!".

A cannonball skimmed the top of the ship and dipped into the ocean, whilst another smashed one of the propellors of the clipper.

Before the group could escape the ship it started sinking slowly toward the sea, it's hover systems failing.

Jason remained unconcious, but his body was trying it's best to make him wake up.

Yalun swore, he drew on his magic, and began to touch the ship, he hoped the range had effects on his power. "Zero-Range, Telekinesis." He stated, chanting, trying to keep the ship up.

Cornelius growled, and continued to the gatling gun, intending on taking down the other ship with them. He opened fire.

Ben began swearing violently as the ship started to drop. "Everybody off" He shouted. He was about to abandon ship himself when he saw Jason's unconscious body on the floor, running over he tried to pick it up but the bigger man's body was too heavy. "I need help over hear" Ben shouted trying to be heard over the commotion.

The ship stopped hovering and freefell to the rocks below into the ocean.



The group were lucky, the ship had landed in some water not too deep to drown them all, but not too shallow to crush them. Everyone was unconscious, except for Nero who hadn't survived the fall.

The sound of metal feet could be heard around them, the tide was now out and allowed the area the ship had crashed to be accessed from Arvel.

The old war veteran had a large bump on the side of his head, but was otherwise fine. His mind struggled to stir his body to life.

Ben sat up shaking his head, he was dizzy but other wise on hurt.

Cornelius awakened, he could feel a gun barrel being held to his head, "I wouldn't try anything if I were you, old chap".

Everyone in the group had a robot over them, holding a musket. Only one mechanical man wasn't carrying a noticeable weapon. It looked like the other robots, but a top hat had been placed upon it's head, a monocle was perched on one of it's torch like head, it was the one that was talking.

Vex was still unconscious next to Ben. Her dress was ripped at the bottom of the frills.

"Allow me to introduce myself, I am Major 182, but I prefer John", the monocled robot trudged into the center of his guard.

Yalun stirred slightly. He was angry, he was annoyed, but still he smiled. His hand moved around for something to latch onto, which was a robot's leg. "Why am I feeling coldness?" He asked, his eyes were closed in fear of pain upon opening. "And why is John a major?"

"Whatever you say, tin can. What the hell do you want?" Cornelius wiped a bit of blood from his head.

The market was a wreck, everyone who was there at the time had been sat down and put under watch by a large contingent of robots, that appeared to be the same ones that attacked Valley, one of the robots began talking, "We really mean you no harm, we simply wish to welcome your quaint town into the Dwarven Hegemony peacefully".

John laughed at Yalun's inquiries before addressing Cornelius, "I believe you may all know of someone I wish to meet".

Yalun kept his eyes closed. "Please don't say Nero." He stated. "or some thing like that? What is going on?" He moaned.

John looked quizzically at Yalun, "Who the dickens is Nero?", the robot then gasped as if gazing at the obvious, "All of you wake up", the robots mouth pieces emitted a hellishly high-pieced note.
