Leniel held up his hand, trying to make a wall of shadow.

"Wow. Thanks for the great present, Nalfein." Revak said grinning as he sheathed one of his daggers in favor of a torch. He brandished the flaming stick over his head.

Nalfein wasted no time and teleported several of the burning logs at the troll. The fur caught fire but did not engulf the beast in flames immediately. Slowly but surely the beast would be engulfed.

The Troll was confused by the wall of shadow and tripped over a fallen tree and landed with a loud thud. But quickly recovered and ran through the wall of shadows with the vile club swinging. The troll was completely ignorant of Revak, he had a perfect opening to sneak behind the charging beast and light its fur.

It was clear to Leniel that he could simply put a globe of shadows over the beasts head and make it blind to the world or shoot some shadow weapons at it.

Leniel pulled back his arm, summoned a spear of shadow, and aimed it at the trolls shoulder. He than held his hands together building up energy.

The spear hit the trolls shoulder with a huge amount of force making it reel back, forcing it to drop its club and slowed it down... For a moment, but the enraged beast began to flail around blindly. It would crush one of them if this kept up. The beast was almost on top of them and had its gaze held Leniel.

Nalfein used a teleportation spell to move Leniel back a bit to give him more time to prepare his magic. The beast was puzzled at first but continued to move towards him, it sent a rock flying in Leniels direction and it hit him square in the shoulder, sending pain arcing throughout his body.

The troll still ignored Revak

Percival sent a long spear of shadow at the troll, which was struck on the shoulder. It grunted and moved back a step.

Spoiler:
How much gold was in the pouch?

Spoiler:
Whew, sorry I was gone.

Revak, seeing his oportunity, snuck up behind the troll holding his torch carefully. Revak yelled and struck at the troll with his torch, attempting to light it's fur.

The fire caught, and quickly spread up its back to its neck and then head. It roared, and reared backward. Percival sent a spear of shadow through its throat while Glor broke its stomach open with his hammer. It fell forward, moaning and bleeding.

Leniel held him arm and moved forward, still holding another spear. He aimed for a lung, hoping to hit the heart, and threw it.

Spoiler:
Around 5 golds worth of silver, and a few minor gems.

Nalfein threw more burning logs at the creature and tried to finish the fire that had been started by engulfing the beast, the amount of teleporting was wearing on him and he was bruised from the beast'stones that had been thrown earlier, this needed to end soon.

Spoiler:
I have a Word document with everyone's money in.

Glor walked over and started repeatedly slamming his hammer in the beast's skull. After about the fifth strike, there was a resounding crack as it opened. Brains spilled out and the troll screamed and was silent.

Leniel walked to the trolls cave and tried to search for anything of use inside.

There was nothing inside of the cave, just more bones, blood and rotting flesh. There was a horrible stink that would make most people ill. Leniel could see torn cloth and things that may have once been finery making up the troll's nest but there was nothing of note. His shoulder was not hurting him so much, but it was out of its socket.

Leniel tried to make the torn cloth into a sling. He then switched his gloves back. "My arm is going to be out for a few days." He tried to sling it back into place.

The sling worked, but it smelled foul. The fabric was light and strong, the kind of textiles nobles had.

"Revak, that was fun wasn't it?" Nalfein asked wincing at his shoulder. Besides Leniel, the parties moves were pretty minor, as they had not directly engaged the beast except for Glor.

"So it was," said Revak laughing,"good thing we killed it before it got the chance to hunt again." Revak knelt down beside the troll's body, examining it.

Leniel walked back to the group with a smile on his fast, "May the shadows feast on it's soul." His arm was still in a sling, "Could on of you, put my arm back in place? You know, give me a hand."

"I am afraid I do not know how to do that..... Revak?" Nalfein asked.

Furin went over to Leniel: 'I'm sorry lad, I'm better at getting wounds than fixing them. But a nice big hit ought to do it."

Belli grabbed Leniels shoulder and popped it back into place. He grunted as he did so, it would of hurt.

"Now that is settled, we should probably move up a ways and make camp to rest." Nalfein said. "Gather up any gold you see and leave the rest, we have to keep ourselves light enough to flee quickly." He mounted his horse and waited for the others.

Leniel winced, "Thanks, Belli." Leniel went to his horse and mounted it, "Ready."

After about a half mile of traveling the group made camp, Nalfein had prepared a soup of various vegetables and wild herbs, there was also a small amount of dried beef tossed in for flavor. "I think that will have to do... soup's on!" He said making himself a bowl.

Revak grabbed a bowl and filled it with the soup. As soon as he tasted the soup he was hit by a sudden wave of nostalgia. He finally struggled out,"Great soup, Nalfein. You've got talent."
