Matt, don't act infuriatingly superior when an RP post goes contrary to in-RP common knowledge that you haven't made common knowledge.
"Ohh... Okay." Orna said hesitantly, pulling her dagger out of her belt and cutting a small portion of the meat, before skewering it and taking a small bite.

"Yes," the leader said. "We have authority of our Great Hersir,"

BALOTH
The letter came back simply,

Maybe, deepens on wat u hav.

Great Hersir To'Takka

ELTEE
All the minotaurs looked at her, eagerly waiting her reaction.
The liver was rough, and well tasted like normal liver. Though, it was very nicely seasoned.

It was much better than Orna anticipated, though it was a little rough going down when she swallowed.

"It's delicious." She declared with a nervous smile.

I'm sorry, Eltee, I thought the connection could be made in my OP about the slaves and conquering the Nymph nation. It's my mistake that I was vague and failed to specify.

Quote:
Queen Junna of the great Nation of Visaga

You insult the culture and history of Arakesh, dear queen. If you will allow it, I will share the history of Arakesh with you. 700 years ago, the Nymphic Kingdom of Vellana engaged us in war, and my blood Helio Creox died fighting them, and my blood Janis Creox lived to see them destroyed, to avenge my noble bloodline, the bloodline that had been tainted by war and death. No Visagan Nymph is slave to the Arachs of Arakesh. While you share common genetics with Vellanan Nymphs, who farm and work doing what Arachs cannot do in this world meant for humanoids, you do not share nationhood, or blood.

As I said, I would like to discuss this in person. Waiting hours for letters to be delivered is tedious, and emotion cannot be expressed through words.

____

IMP:

"Then we have much to discuss," The Great White Spider said to the Elders. "We believe that an alliance between Tarmargar and Arakesh should be reached."

Cheering came from all ends of the table, as more was forcibly served on her plate. The other minotaurs grabbed other strange meats and innards that looked and smelled disgusting. To'Takka took a spoonful of a green chunky liquid, and gulped it down. "We are here to discuss an alliance? Correct?" he asked the Nymph.

AMM
Ro'Rowr spoke, "Okay," he said simply. "Does this mean we are friends?"

"Yes," Lord Creox said. "With all of the benefits an alliance contains. We should establish embassies in each others' nations, and support each other in times of war. Fight with us, and we'll fight with you.

"We like to fight... a lot," another Elder said. Ro'Rawr spoke, "Will you make our own Embassy for us? With your special spider string?"

It's cool, man. I'm just being a drama queen coz it's fun.

Sling me a PM, and we can cook up a nice history between Arakesh and Visaga.

I am going to edit the letter sent in the first place slightly to reflect what I know now. (and what Junna has known all along.)

IMP

With some difficulty, Orna politely refused any more, saying jokingly that she wanted to preserve her girlish figure.

"Ahhm..." She said, looking at the leader. "Not an alliance, immediately, but definitely to discuss ways of making our countries better friends. Okay?"

"We like being friends with others," To'Takka said, "we are lonely on this island." The little young minotaur reached onto the Nymphs plate, and an elder grabbed the young one's horns and slammed the kid's head one the table, after bellowing, "NO MOLVAK!"

The young minotaur fell to the floor, unconcious. The group continued eating.

"What can we do to be better friends?" the high elder, Yousuntok asked.

Junodia spent a good thirty minutes in bed with a headache after reading the letter from To'Takka. She sent a reply.

Fresh water, metal, gems, and literacy instructors. Yes? No? -High Queen Junodia

She spent the next little while in bed after having written it, pondering how somebody could be so stupid.

The local guards inspected the Arachs with unveiled curiosity, having never seen their kind before. In due course, the two ambassadors were escorted to Ashibibi Nine-Hooves and to the top of the center pyramid, where they were met by the full council of chiefs.

"We have been anticipating your arrival," said Asphodel. "I trust your journey was not entirely unpleasant?"

A few days later, the Council considered another letter they had received.

"'Esteemed Nations?' They couldn't even take the time to address Nitiy, let alone our most honored Queen, by name?" High Priestess Nuba Sawyta asked, annoyed.

"We must make allowances for their lack of culture, High Priestess," Queen Busuda said gently. "I wonder which nations he considers to be less just?"

"Surely this is related to the letter we recently received from Visaga, Your Highness," High Priest Lohud Mozuk replied. "I advise caution. If tensions are escalating between those neighboring nations, we would not want to appear to show favoritism."

"Then we will not," said the Queen. "Send an emissary and an escort of the same size as the one we sent to Visaga."

=========================================

The next morning, Nuba Edova released another carrier pigeon, this one headed to Kelliken.

Orna looked at the Elder, looking stunned.

"Ahh... We can make agreements that make it easier for your people from this land to come to Visaga, and vice versa. We can make it easier for trade. Nymphic engineers could even help design sanitation systems, and other public works."

GID

The Caravan was nothing more than three brightly painted caravan wagons, pulled by clearly foreign reindeer. As soon as the caravaneers saw the approaching Minotaurs, they stopped.

One of them, a slight trader with short-cropped red hair and a single hoop earring, slipped out of the driver's seat of the head wagon.

"You have the look of warriors!" She observed, slightly nervous, as dancers, singers, fiddlers, tinkers and traders watched from their windows. "Do you have some business with us, sirs?"

"Fool." Junodia angrily crumpled up the letter from To'Takka. She went to her throne room, expecting the Arach visitors' arrival.

A half dozen Bru'unerian guards escorted Edwy Creox, leading them into Mount Juno and Juno City proper. Many warm, well lit caverns greeted them, and Bru'unerian citizens scuttled out of the diplomats' way. Many of the homes and buildings were carved from the rock, or made from mud bricks. A large stairway led up to Junodia's keep--an impressive construction of stone, well fortified and heavily manned--and the diplomats were let into the throne room. Junodia rose from her throne to greet them. "Greetings, and welcome to Bru'uneria. I trust your journey here was pleasant enough?" she spoke in the common tongue. Her voice was high, a bit breathy, and a little shaky. Beside her stood Crown Prince Kaviss. A number of guards and diplomats were also in the room.
