Uncle paced back and forwards, he stopped and looked at the ruffians, then back to the group, who were now unpaused, "Wait, did you want that gold?".

"Over here!" Ben shouted, he was chewing the inside of his cheeks to try and block out the pain "I'm hit, somebody help me"

Yalun looked at Uncle and nodded. "That was our gold." He mumbled. he looked at the ruffians and wondered what they were thinking. He turned to Ben. "I am not skilled in the healing arts." He mumbled, willing Ben's wounds to stitch together and seal, the blood to float in a blob in the air.

"Yep." Jason said to Uncle, a bit angry.

Uncle laughed lightly, "So it's gold you want? I could fabricate you all a chest with an endless amount of gold pieces in it if you all wish?".

The bullet that had hit Ben shot back out of his body and his wound began to weep heavily.

Yalun glanced at Uncle. "There is always a catch, even if your purposes are benevolent. Nothing of such power.." He said, part of his mind focused on healing Ben.

"Well... It would be nice to get new weapons for the struggle agaisnt the dwarves." jason said to Uncle.

Ben's wound scabbed a little, but it would still be painful to walk, Yalun could not heal him anymore.

"A catch?", Uncle laughed loudly again, "If you want I could make one that blew the hands off of the person who opened it, but that isn't me".

The old man glanced at Jason, "Weapons?".

"You f*cking idiot!" Cornelius shouted at Uncle. He strapped his greatsword to his back.

The old man glared at Uncle. "You better be able to abra-kadabra our goddamn money back. --THIS is just one reason why magic is f*cking stupid!"

He gripped Uncle by the collar. "If your nephew hadn't saved everyone's asses, I would punch your empty head right off your damn neck. We need weapons, food, and transport. If you can't provide those, you better think up a way to pay us back, real fast."

Ben broke into a torrent of swear words as the bullet left his body. He looked down at his leg hoping it was healed and broke into a fresh torrent of swears when he saw the blood continue to trickle down his leg. "Someone give me something to block the blood flow" Ben exclaimed.

Yalun glanced at Cornelius. "Calm friend." He murmured, his magic turned to the ruffians, probing their minds gently, searching. He was searching for the reason behind this.

Vex went to Ben and knelt down. "Just calm down. Going berserk won't help anything." she said, using her dagger to cut a strip of a bandage, and then proceeding to tie it up around the bullet wound.

"Better now?"

Uncle growled, "You would do best to let go son, or you might find yourself suddenly tied to a train-track", he glanced at Ben, his wounds suddenly began to heal, Vex's bandage tied tighter around Ben's leg as if Uncle was suggesting she hadn't done it properly, "I will come with you to Kimmit".

The old man pushed Cornelius with his palms with exceptional force, sending the old veteran back several feet, "But if you do that, I don't think I can stop myself from hurting you back".

Yalun could hear one of the ruffians minds:

'Jessica will leave me for sure, no way is she going to live with a man who can't even feed his children'.

Vex shot a look at Uncle. "Of course he's mad, can you blame him? You poofed away all of our money." she said with a slight growl.

"Thank you ma'am" He said grinning at Vex not realising it was Uncle who had healed it.

Yalun stepped towards the ruffian. "Do honest work." He said softly, his mind kept at the probing, he sighed, baring the other ruffian's mind to him. "You will feed your children with that methods." He held out his cane to Ben, planning on using the umbrella for now.

Uncle gritted his teeth, "Isn't it enough that I will be coming with you? I'm an old man, this day has been too much already!".

The ruffian struggled, "You don't understand you idiot, Arvel isn't exactly an honest place to live".

Vex stood up and attempted a smile at Ben, but she was still rather furious at Uncle.

Yalun resisted the urge to slap the ruffian, instead his hair ruffled. "Move then." He said warmly, a soft smile on his face. "or next people you face.. won't let you live."

Ben shook his head at Yalun "Thank you sir but all of a sudden my leg feels as good as new, as if by magic" To prove his point Ben walked over to the opposite wall feeling no strain on his leg.

"Yes weapons." Jason replied to Uncle.

"Food." Cornelius growled.

"Move? I have two coins. I have two children, a wife!", the ruffian struggled with his bindings, but instead they got tighter.

Ben could walk perfectly fine, if anything his leg felt better than usual.

Uncle paused, then rubbed his face, "Because I did you all such a terrible service...", the old man concentrated as he imagined the weapons that he had created in his study, then he blinked.

Everyone in the room now had a small dagger and a clockwork pistol in their respective pockets or attached to their belts.

Everyone:
+1 Ribbon Dagger (Average Damage, has a small chance to send a small shock through anything it hits).
+1 Alarm Pistol (Less than average damage, can shoot several rounds as if fully automatic when cocked fully, this can take quite a while though)

Jason inspected his newly gained weapons; "These are, adequate." He pulled out both pistols and aimed at the wall, but didn;t fire. He put them back again and said; "More than adequate. If you don't mind, I'm goin gto nip to the market and sell my rifle."
