As the group reached the outskirts of Kiernan, they did not come to a pleasant sight. There was a dead woman behind a small stone wall. She was wearing combat armor and in small, white, painted letters on the breastplate read "Kiernan Guard Official". it appears she was shot several times, and a victim of extreme overkill.

Kelly scanned every nearby rock, bush, and piece of pre-war wreckage as the group approached, identifying any location where an enemy could be hidden.

"We could easily be blamed if someone spots us near that body- unless all the town's guards ended up like this." He glanced at Yates and Mars. "I say we head to the town's entrance, and see what state it's in."

"Shut the hell up, Mars. We won't just stand out in the open; we'll keep ourselves hidden." Kelly paused after making the statement, looking towards the town's walls, then turning to Mars.

"On second though - you're a scout, Mars. Go. Figure out what's going on. You've got binoculars, right?"

Mars heard nothing from the town. Upon looking through the streets, he found several dead guards, stripped of their weapons. The villagers, men, woman and children, of Kiernan were dead as well, looks of shock and fear on their faces.

The entire town had been massacred.

After some good minutes of scouting the area Steve stood up, and continued his travel, entering Muir town and headed towards the GYP headquarters.

Yates looked over at Kelly "So, it seems pretty obvious that you're starting to like Mars less and less. Why is that?

"Don't worry about it," Kelly stated dryly, "He's just been ticking me off for the last few hours. I don't know why he can't accept that humans are going to hate us no matter what we do." Kelly removed his sunglasses as he spoke, wiping minute debris from their lens with the same cloth he used to clean his rifle.

"I think Mars just likes the sound of his voice," Kelly concluded, "That's something I can't stand in a ghoul." Kelly appeared to have calmed, but in reality, sending Mars away for a few minutes had done little to sooth his anger.

"Well your anger towards him shouldn't be so obvious, I don't want you two to end up tearing eachother apart." He said jokingly while beginning to sit on the ground, looking around at his surroundings.

"I said don't worry about it," Kelly said, "And I meant it. So don't worry about it." He then returned his sunglasses to his head and looked out towards Kiernan.

"Mars should return soon."

"Whatever."
Yates pulled out some water and proceded to drink it thirstily.

Lenka had left the tent and was approaching the center of the campsite. "We will be visiting the Rippers as well." he informed Adi. "They may be your enemies, but in order to accomplish this goal, we shall need their help."

Lenka stopped when he noticed Jorey in the distance. He grinned. "My, my, my!" he called out to Jorey. "So you've caught up, have you?"

"Fine by me, as long as we don't have to smile at them or give them our guns," Adi replied, cocking her pistol. "Are we ready to go then?"

Jorey readied his weapons. "Ready yourselves." He said to Keran and Jets. "I think they spotted us."

Kelly rubbed his forhead. "Let's head over there, then. Whoever wiped out the town couldn't have taken everything. We can always use some more supplies."

The group began to move, and Kelly readied his weapon.

"Keep an eye open."

We're outside Kiernan.

The group of Ghouls and one human ventured into the town. Everyone was dead, in the middle of the streets. They suddenly heard a shuffle inside a doorway to a medium sized house.
