I added fingerless gloves and changed Long Blade to just Blade. Added people she knows. I hope that is okay. There is no need to list my character's sexuality is there?

Can I join, and if so, may I? Same character as the "The Ring of Fire" RP, but a bit older and wiser. With edits...

Hidden:
Name: Velavesa
Race: Dunmeri
Age: 31
Physical Description: Skyrim dunmer preset 5 without warpaint/eye tint, Short, thin, slight deep blue tint ashen skin colour, red eyes, quite youthful. A few scars from various events that happened some years ago...
Personality:Friendly, loyal, curious, can be a bit naive, sometimes over-reacts about little things. values her friends and the people she loves more than she does herself. Mostly cheerful and playful.
Class / Profession: Scholar, ex fighter's Guild member.
Weapons / Equipment:Steel sword for when her magicka runs out, a few healing potions and magicka potions, and a couple of books for light reading.
Clothing / Armor: Skyrim Aprentice robes of Restoration
One Major Skill:Restoration
Two Minor Skills: Destruction, blade.
Background:Velavesa was abandoned by her parents on the Cyrodill/Morrowind border in late 3E 412, and was adopted by some bosmer bandits, who she escaped from in 3E 429 because she wanted to see the world, and was bored of living in a cave. She settled down to a life of hunting deer and elk in Skyrim, however the general anti-dunmer sentiment she felt there made her go to Cyrodill, where she joined the Kvatch Fighter's Guild. She left the guild and Kvatch in the wake of the Oblivion Crisis having helped the Hero of Kvatch retake the city, returning, briefly, to her prior life of hunting, before settling down at the Arcane university, as part of the developing warding magic project.
Relationships (with NPCs or other PCs): Contacts within the Arcane University and to some extent the Fighter's Guild.
You are in the Imperial City because… member of the Arcane University, so she lives in the city.
Bonus detail (any detail) about your character: One of the pioneers of warding spells. Hates all male dremora after events in the City of Kvatch on that terrible night in 3E 433...

Nobleman's son shouldn't have touched her greatsword. Touch a warriors weapon and eyou may get a broken hand. ;)

Been thinking on this character sheet for the past couple days. Let me know if I need to change anything!
Spoiler:
Name: Fadlan
Race: Redguard
Age: 25
Physical Description: 6'4", dark skinned, shaved head, full beard, broad shoulders, big arms, scar across left cheek
Personality: Hates Daedra, hates Daedra worshippers, hates werewolves, hates vampires, hates witches, hates criminals. Loves beef stew. Fiercely loyal, especially to the Vigil. Brave and self sacrificing.
Class / Profession: Vigilant of Stendarr
Weapons / Equipment: Scimitar, Varieties of Daedra (Book), potion of Cure Disease, torch
Clothing / Armor: Amulet of Stendarr, steel shin boots, steel Imperial gauntlets, novice hood, novice robes of restoration
One Major Skill: One-handed (or Blade. Whichever.)
Two Minor Skills: Alteration, Restoration
Background: Fadlan lived a simple enough existence as a lad in the Imperial City, until the Oblivion Crisis. His father died defending their home from Daedra. Fadlan took up his father's sword, and killed one Dremora himself, before receiving a slash across the face by a Dremora longsword. Guardsmen saved him and his mother, and Martin Septim, with the Champion of Cyrodiil at his side, banished Mehrunes Dagon and his minions to Oblivion. Fadlan, however, was burning with anger at his father's death, and pledged himself to the Vigil of Stendarr when he became an adult.
Relationships (with NPCs or other PCs): Lu'ah (Mother, living in the Imperial City [no relation to Lu'ah Al-Skaven of Skyrim])
You are in the Imperial City because…Fadlan is visiting his mother, and awaiting any orders from the Vigil.
Bonus detail (any detail) about your character: Fadlan will not get along very well at all with Talsi, should it be revealed that she is a vampire.

I hate the vigilants of stendarr and my character is a vampiric daedra worshiper. I'm sure our characters will get along great!

I wonder if the order of the virtuous blood is still around...

Huzzah! I'll review the new sheets.

Anyone who wants to join afterwards, two stipulations: no one can have illusion as a major skill (we have a few already), and no one can have parents who are prematurely dead. You can't all be orphans. Try to be reasonable. :P

I would like to add that, to my knowledge, mine was the only character proficient in Illusion.

Don't worry, CBR. You're safe.

Pillow, you, p-sto, and Musicman all listed illusion as a major skill. It's perfectly fine and you can keep it, I just don't want a huge group of people with it. :)

I can change the dead parents part if necessary. Was I first in putting Illusion?

I don't want Illusion anymore. I want Mysticism. Silence, Sound, Telekinesis, Detect, Mark, Recall. Come on now, who wouldn't want to be able to do that as an assassin mage. >_>

Grok specializes in light armor - not that he can't carry heavy armor! He just prefers to wear what he kills, is all. Also my character development ideas are very general - just in the fact that he has never spent an extended amount of time with civil people before will change him.

A purist might argue that he's missing one of the day's energy points by not doing so at midnight but it is your character's religion. I once made a similar Skyrim assassin, meditation four times a day, ritual bleeding before combat. Just random thoughts.

One could also say that a Redguard whose primary skill is in magic is unrealistic. But I don't usually comment on other people's characters ;)

Sorry if I was stepping on toes. It just reminds me of a number of religious practices. Myself, I find qigong quite fascinating. As for the Redguard using magic, it's be a long running thing for me since I started playing the Elder Scrolls.

Considering this, I am rather hoping that we aren't going to be limited to the traditional game spells. I was pretty much thinking at the start my character would be limited to charm spells and one or two atypical illusions that would be more or less parlour tricks.

Updated my first post with my character sheet, decided to keep it simple...not sure why I always feel compelled to make dagi characters...maybe I just subconsciously wish to be tiny and sit on someone's shoulders like a parrot..

Daww, Baloth, being a Vigilant >_> I had so looked forward to either a crusader or a witchhunter guy. Oh well; I realized I've never actually roleplayed a witch in a TES RP (Matilde was more of a healer), and that feels weird because . . . well, my username, my avatar, my character in Skyrim.

Hidden:
Name: Erith Vanne
Race: Breton
Age: 29
Physical Description: Erith is a slight, somewhat mousy girl with long chestnut hair. Her green eyes are aloof and penetrating, and her mouth little more than a thin white line. Despite this, she's somewhat pretty, with thick eyelashes and soft facial features. Erith is of average weight and height for a female Breton.
Personality: Cool and mysterious, clever and confident, wise and a little eccentric. She's a serious, grim woman, and devout to the Mistress of Shadows. She knows her lady is one of the least likely of all the gods, Aedra or Daedra, to show favor or bless her few followers, but she feels somewhat connected to Nocturnal and is perfectly okay with the goddess's coldness and mystery. Not truly knowing the motivations of who she is worshiping yet still being fervent in her love of Nocturnal grants her a certain degree of independence that other witches (and cultists of Daedra, priests of Aedra, and the religious all over Tamriel alike) do not have.
Class / Profession: Witch of Nocturnal
Weapons / Equipment: Steel dagger, Book Ten of 2920: Last Year of the First Era, Purloined Shadows, Paralysis Poison, mortar and pestle, satchel, 120 gold
Clothing / Armor: Simple black robes, black boots (both TES V style), a black cloak
One Major Skill: Conjuration
Two Minor Skills: Mysticism, Alchemy
Background: Erith was born in a little collection of cottages south of Daggerfall. She was raised there with a coven of witches devoted to Mephala. When her education from the coven began, she wasn't actually sure if she wanted to serve the coven's goddess. Her mother always told her Mephala would grant her the most gifts, as long as she was conniving and cruel, and her grandmother always said that Vaermina would teach her things few witches would ever know. . but when she was taught of all the Daedra, Nocturnal stood out most to her. Despite this, she stayed with the coven for most of her life and didn't leave until she was nineteen. Her mother and grandmother understood that she wanted to find herself. Starting her journey, she traveled to Hammerfell alone, all the while still worshiping Mephala . . . though throughout the years she has tried worshiping Vaermina, Azura, Molag Bal and Hircine as well, none stood out to her like the enigma Nocturnal. She lived in Hammerfell for ten years, expanding on her magical abilities while there, becoming even more adept at Conjuration magic. She lived in Hegathe, but traveled throughout Hammerfell during her time there. She left recently and journeyed to Cyrodiil, hoping to learn more there and eventually go to Skyrim and then back to High Rock to see her mother and grandmother.
Relationships (with NPCs or other PCs): She doesn't know her father, but her mother is a witch of Mephala that lives in High Rock and her grandmother was a witch of Vaermina before coming to live with her mother's coven. She knows no other relatives and almost no one in the city.
You are in the Imperial City because… Erith is just a traveler that happens to be a witch, that came from High Rock and traveled through Hammerfell before coming to Cyrodiil on her way to Skyrim. She is awed by the city and has stayed there for nearly a week, renting a room in a place known as Luther Broad's Boarding House.
Bonus detail (any detail) about your character: Despite being a witch and follower of Nocturnal, Erith actually despises thieves. She considers them unworthy of Nocturnal's luck, as most of them barely even care for the goddess, let alone revere her. Shadow hide you indeed.

Question: How many Dunmer are there so far? I know they're usually popular with RP's, and I don't to crowd up on one race.
