"Of course I meant it!", Sergio said, slightly offended at Lucy's accusation. "I wouldn't have said it if I didn't. I'm certainly not a people person, but I ain't the sort of jerk who goes around making fun of people's art", he continued. "Besides, I write comics too", he said in a barely audible whisper. "I'm... Sergio", he said after a short pause. His voice was a bit shaky, and he fidgeted with his dreadlocks, tell-tale signs of his nervousness.

Lucy frowned with distrust, her lower lip shaking slightly. Then finally, she blurted out, "You-look-nice-I'd-like-to-see-your-comic-books-what-are-they-about-oh-I-am-Lucy-beware-of-Chris-we-were-in-camp-together-last-year-he-might-get-jealous-then-he-may-hurt-you-because-he-is-so-strong" caught her breath and blushed even deeper.

"Sons of EVA", Sergio said quietly, offering no other explanation. The Costa Rican boy then opened his backpack, pulled out a battered, teal, multi-sectioned plastic folder. He looked at Lucy, then at the folder, then reluctantly handed it to her. In it, were the drafts for his comic in one section, an assortment of drawings in others, and hand-written sheet music filled the rest. The drawings were done in black and blue ink, combining elements of manga and American-style comics. The cover featured a pair of twin brothers who appeared to be in their early-twenties, and they greatly resembled Sergio. "The twins are.. separated. So now they are looking for each other", he explained after a short pause.
Spoiler:
In case anyone is curious: That folder, as well as everything in it, all exist in real life, though my comic is on an indefinite hiatus. And "Son's of EVA" is a Metal Gear Solid reference.

The rain pattered against the window of the coach, and Holly sighed. She had travelled halfway across the world, to a beautiful forested region of the USA, and she was stuck with the Doe Scouts for all of it. She glanced around the bus at some of the figures surrounding her. They all didn't seem like the kind of people she could get along with, at all. Making the most of the last bit of spare time she had, she reclined in her seat and closed her eyes, quietly humming some gentle songs to herself.

Jon sighed and nervously looked around. He quietly sat alone in his seat. He looked around again, and observed what the others looked like. He turned around, and started to stare out the window.

Isabella dodged a few airplanes and pieces of junk. She sat against the corner of her seat, annoyed. She already wanted to go home. Camp wasn't her "thing".

The bus finally pulled up to Camp Elk. The driver opened the door. In walked Scoutmaster Rose Allon - prettier and nicer than ever. “Hello, everyone!” Scoutmaster Rose said kindly with a wave. “I’m Scoutmaster Rose! I lead Camp Elk’s Doe Scouts! I am overjoyed to spend this summer with you!” The Scoutmaster smiled. Many kids cheered. Others cried due to homesickness. “Okay,” Rose shouted. “It’s raining pretty hard. I want everyone to get off the bus and head directly to the cafeteria on the opposite side of the campgrounds. There, you’ll find out which cabin you’ll be staying in for the summer.”

Grant got off the bus and started walking slowly toward the cafeteria, well aware that at this speed he would be drenched by the time he got there, but he didn't mind.

Jon immediately got off the bus and walked towards the cafeteria, ignoring the rain drenching him. He quietly looked around nervously, and muttered something to himself.

"That's sad," Lucy said, glancing at the twins. "My comics are so stupid compared to this,"
Spoiler:
Great, I try to create something like comic books IRL, but they are not about angsty vampire, though. Most of them, anyway  I tend to go for stuff for children most of the time, because I like the atmosphere of childhood so much. Oh, gee, where was I?

she sniffed and added, "Take care about Chris though. He is a very powerful camper. You are nice, and I don't want him to hurt you".
Spoiler:
It would be nice to see how Segio and Chris get along; after all, Chris is far from being the hero Lucy most sincerely pictures him as

She marvelled at herself, speaking in such long phrases. As Scoutmaster Rose entered and told them to get off the bus, Lucy handed the folder back to Segio, gathered her papers hurriedly and jumped off, landing in the middle of a muddy pool. Taking care not to be noticed, she took Bonnie out from beneath her jacket and checked if the doll had been splashed. "I wonder why it always rains on my first day at the camp, Bonnie?" she asked musingly as she started towards the cafeteria. "Must be because I am so pathetic," she sighed.

"Thanks for the advice, Lucy", Sergio said. Taking his folder and putting it back into his backpack, he walked off the bus, avoiding a big puddle that he saw Lucy land in. "It sure doesn't rain like this in the Mojave Desert", he chuckled to himself. As he walked to the cafeteria, he wondered who Chris was, and why Lucy said to beware of him.
Spoiler:
Fun fact: Victorville, the city I live in, is in the Mojave Desert

Saul tried to distance himself from the group, they made him curious, more than anything, especially the ones who were so much emotion, be it depression or happiness. He listened to the scoutmaster half heartedly, thinking about how his master was doing. And walked to the cafeteria when everyone was done making noise

Spoiler:
I'm not letting this die. Too many good RPs are dying lately.

"This place is a dump," Holly murmered to a boy standing next to her. "You'd think if they were going to make us put up with this for the summer, they'd at least give us a decent place to stay in. But no, instead they throw us in the concentration camp Elk."
She grinned and turned to face the boy. He was short, spotty and with thick-rimmed glasses.
Spoiler:
Yes, that's Chris. I thought I'd tick off Mr. Scouts Fan himself within a few minutes of arriving.

Thanks Veck for keeping this alive. and I know what you mean.

Sergio chuckled at a nearby girl's complaint about the camp. By her speech, he could tell that she was from another country. "UK?" He guessed in his mind. "Nice", he said to her, and kept moving.

Here I is...

Name: Dominik Keenu

Gender (Girls are Doe Scouts, boys are Buck Scouts):Male

Age (must be within the range of 13-17):14

Hair Color: Dark Brown

Eye Color: Brown

Height: 5 foot 6 inches. Average height.

Weight: 127 pounds. Average weight for a 14 yr. old.

Physical Appearance (not including uniform): Average height, average weight, average hair, average eyes, average clothes (Meaning the fact everyone wears the same thing at camp), and over all average. He has a small scar on his eyebrow from when he was younger, and pretty straight teeth. He has just a normal skin tone, not too light, or tan/dark, and of course has long, thick, layered hair. A little past shoulder length.

Uniform (short sleeved or long sleeved shirts, for boys either pick pants or shorts, for girls either pick long skirts or long shorts, long shorts or short shorts): Long sleeve shirt, and pants.

Bio: Dominik is just very average. His family isn't rich or poor, but always has more then enough money where they aren't just 'getting by', which is why they can afford things like camp, or guitar teachers for him. He loves to listen and play music, and besides the guitar, he always plays the Sax for his school band. He does pretty good in school, better in some subjects then others, but never being threaten to be held back, or take advance classes. He's a single child, so his parents feel that camp is a good way for him to find a brother figure, knowing many other boys would be there.

Personality: Dominik wouldn't call him self anti-social (nor would his parents), but quiet. He likes to keep to himself, but still has friends and a social life, just not as many as others. Surprisingly to his parents, he tends to hang out with females more then males, which somewhat worries them. He's very confident in himself, although sometimes doubts his abilities in certain skills, whether it be a sport, school subject, or a social matter. Sometimes he likes people, and sometimes he wants times he wants to them realize their stupidity, and leave him alone. Lastly, he could care less how people feel or think about him, and will openly share his ideas and beliefs, even if he knows it's a wrong time to do so, unless a certain someone is involved.

Spoiler:
Some aspects are of me (like my name, although it's a different spelling, and a fake last name).

I might as well do something. It would be a shame to see this die.

Lucy made a awkward movement and her beloved doll fell right in the middle of a muddy pool.

Saul saw one of the campers drop her figurine. It looked weird, but most things they have or do look weird to him.
He decided he would need some company, so he walked over, and picked it up.

Lucy jumped up to the unknown camper and cried out shakily, clenching her fists: "Don't you hurt her!"

Saul felt confused, he thought he did what she would consider appropriate. Ah well, he didn't care much any way, if she was this easily angered, she wouldn't be a suitable friend anyway.
He gave the figurine back to her.

Lucy clutched Bonnie close to herself, took out a handkerchief and started wiping the mud of her, muttering, "Why do I always drop things for someone to pick up? Oh, why am I so pathetic, Bonnie?"

"You're not pathetic." Chris Michaels said from behind Lucy with a smile. "I couldn't find you on the bus! I almost thought you weren't coming to camp this year!"

Spoiler:
When my cousin posts his character going into the cafeteria, I'll put the cabin info up.

And an old friend may return to Camp Elk as well...
