"memories, thoughts.... Desires. If I can read their mind or control them then yes, but I rarely ever do so. You would sense me doing so." Nalfein said to assure his companions. They would never trust him the same way....

Belli looked at Nalfein, and nodded. "So long as you do not search the dark memories.. you will be welcome in my mind." He said softly.

"No one," Revak began,"should invade another man's mind unless absolutely necessary."

Nalfein said nothing but simply nodded and smiled. The battle with the stubborn dwarf had left him quite drained. Looking tired he trudged on.

Furin pushed Belli away from him: "[&@%!] you lot, I'm going to Percival." With that he left

"Tired, Nalfein?" Revak asked,"I've got something that might wake you up a bit, but it's fairly disgusting, yet very effective."

"Just drained, that dwarf has a strong will, whether he knows it or not. And what did you have in mind?" He asked curious.

"It's just a small mix of honey, berries, grains, and some other things. Like I said, it's extremely sweet, but very energizing." Revak said fishing around in his bag finally pulling out a small sack. "Here we are. Want some?"

Nalfein hesitated but said "sure." taking some of the strange substance. "Just.... Down the hatch?"

"Of course. Just eat like you would anything." said Revak watching Nalfein intently.

Nalfein ate It, the oversweetness of it nearly making him gag. But he felt energized.

After a while Furin came to the stables. He saw Percival and Glor saddling and gearing horses, and two ponies. A couple of packhorses stood off to the side, and the gargantuan, steel gates stood off to the side. Glor looked up as he approached and said: "Where're the others?"

"Curses!" Revak suddenly exclaimed,"We've forgotten about meeting Percival. See you there, Nalfein." And with that, Revak took off in the direction of the stables.

Nalfein shook his head and walked towards the stables.

Belli followed. He being behind the others, drew one of his daggers, and rolled up his sleeve.

Belli whilst moving, cut himself once more, wincing at the pain, then the bliss of the lost control, the blood seeped into his already red robes. He grunted and moved on, allowing the wound to heal and scar.

After a small while the other arrived at the stables. Percival and Glor were just finishing setting up the horses, and night was beginning to fall. "Well. The tribe is currently camped in a valley roughly due east of here, about two days' travel. If we set off now, we should arrive at midday in two days." He got on his horse, and Glor got on a pony. "Let's go." He set off at a trot for the gates, Glor in tow.

Revak climbed up onto his horse, and trotted after Percival and Glor, whistling a tune to himself as he did, and thinking,"Well, we're off. For better or for worse."

Belli mounted his horse, his scarred arm limp and bleeding slightly. He held the reins with one hand and trotted his horse after Percival.

Furin mounted his pony and trotted not so far behind Glor.

Nalfein mounted his horse and followed along.
