Tim sighed, he hated anything being stuck into him, as it gave him memories of torture and pain done to him. Tim got up and laid down.
"Do it", he quietly said to this man.

Gordon felt that the man could handle taking care of Tim's wounds. He slipped away from the scene, and to his own delight, away from Aria. Sitting against a small rock face, he opened his backpack, pushing personal effects to one side. He pulled out a roll of duct tape, and set it on the ground nearby. Rolling back his sleeve, he examined the bullet wound on his forearm. Small, high-speed round. Went clean through. He pulled a long strip of tape off of the roll, and wrapped it around his arm several times, covering both the entrance and exit wounds. Gordon then switched out the filter on his mask, acting as quickly as possible. Finally he returned his items to the backpack, and took a short moment to relax.

Charles took a deep breath. He took the tweezers, and slowly removed the bullet from the wound. He took his knife, and cut off a piece of bandage and wrapped it around the would.

"Uhh...that should do it, I hope...yeah"

Tim got up from his current position, and walked over a couple of feet away to sit.
"Wheres my sniper? Im pretty defenseless without it." Tim scanned to area, and only found the smg. He got up painfully, and grabbed it, putting it back into it's respective place.
"What about that raider?"

An eavesdropping Gordon perked up at the mention of the raider who had just tried to kill him. He stepped around the side of the rock face, holding his backpack with one hand, regaining his vision of the others and vice versa. "We can't and shouldn't be dragging him around with us. He's not our problem. Just a problem, period." Gordon dropped his pack lightly, and began rubbing the cross pendant on his necklace between two gloved fingers. "We should leave him at the edge of town. I bet a family around here could use the meat."

Aria's eyes went wide for a second or two as she noticed the cross hanging at Gordon's neck. She wondered if he was a truly religious man...
"I agree with the masked one." she said simply. "He's an ally of our enemies. Why should we help him?"

"We all make mistakes, people. Life is hard here, and mankind will do what he must to survive, even if it means taking from the weak. Everyone deserves redemption. I say we keep him." Tim let out a long sigh, and began to walk into the distance. Tim stopped.
"Shouldn't we find a place to rest?"

"We should. Aria, if you don't mind asking them..." Collin looked up at the moon and sighed. The moon always reminded him of home. A home he has left. For what? To help two people he's never met? I'm such an idiot, he thought.

Gordon opened his mouth to speak, but decided against it. He was vaguely unsettled by the fact he and Aria shared the same opinion on the current situation, but it had no relevance right now. Tim's delusional mind was set; Finding a place to rest sounded alright anyway. Gordon glanced at Juran and Damien, who both seemed to have their wits about them. "I'm going to search the raiders in the parking lot for supplies. I'm sure there's plenty though."

"Ask them to help him?" Aria cocked an eyebrow. "I really think this is a bad idea, Collin. I beg that you think this over."

Aria sighed. After a moment or two of thought, she pointed her finger at Aiden. "Cet homme a besoin de l'aide." she muttered to the travelers without caring whether they heard her or not.

She couldn't lie. Rest sounded good to her. But she had to clear something up first. She dropped her shotgun and approached Gordon's side. "I want to talk to you." she said without looking directly at him. "Just please, trust me here. I'm not armed. I just want to have a friendly conversation. Please."

Gordon eyed Aria suspiciously. He couldn't understand why she would want to talk to him, especially right now. Once again she was acting like they had never met before, acting like she hadn't made him take the mask off. But he hadn't talked to someone, really talked, in so long. "Fine. Right here, or..."

Tim got up from his current position, noting some hills in the distance. Slipping out quietly, he walked over to the hills. He stood at the edge of them, it was a huge cliff. At the bottom was a moonlit lake, a shiny blue. Tim sat down at the edge. Nature like this reminded him of a time when the earth was calm and peaceful. He got up, and turned around. 3 combat shotguns were pointed at his face, one of the raiders looked strangely familiar. He was reminded of a sensation of hate, and pain.
"Well, hello boys." Tim croaked out. His head started aching with pain, the raider had bashed him in the head with the butt of the shotgun. Blood rained down from his face. Barely able to see from all the blood, he sliced Kragg in the face. One of the raiders tried to shoot him with the gun, but missed. Tim jumped off the cliff, into the lake.
"Ever do that again, and Kragg will have your head!" Tim didn't know what to do.

Gordon made out what sounded like a gunshot in the distance, but dismissed it. People were always trying to shoot eachother; it could have been something else anyway. He turned to face Aria. "You wanted to talk? Go ahead, unless it's something private." Gordon knew it wasn't private, if it was, Aria wouldn't have come to him.

6 more shotgun blasts came near Tim. A searing pain hit his leg, and he screamed as loud as he could:
"Help!" 2 more blasts hit his other leg, rendering him unable to walk. He crawled onto shore, hoping someone would find him.

"I want to know what happened to you." Aria said with a calm tone. "I want to know why you wear it." She was obviously referring to the mask. "I know it's not easy to dig up the past. But just please tell me what happened and why you wear that mask. I know for sure that you wore it long before you met any of us."

Tim wound up on the shores of the lake. He could hear the sound of footsteps, but his vision was blurred from the radiation filled water.
"Gordon, please help" Tim sounded out. A searing pain filled Tims head, and he was out cold. Moments later, he woke up in a small, bloody room. Sounds out screams and gashing filled the room. His thoughts were blurred, and he ached to kill, a sensation he has never felt. He looked down at his arm, and was frightened at what he saw. Numerous wires came out of his arm, and in replace of his arm was a metallic device, a bionic arm, he looked at his legs, bionic too. His chest felt... different, it too, was bionic. He was wearing some sort of mask, but his face was fine. Normal.

Gordon was surprised. Why was Aria so damn interested in his life and thoughts? "Look, I..." Gordon glanced from left to right, trying to gather his thoughts. "You're standing in front of me, right? You're breathing, you're alive. That means you eat, you sleep, you drink water. You do everything that you have to, to survive." Gordon motioned towards his own face."I wear this to survive, when I...." Gordon looked down, rubbing the back of his neck with one hand. "When I was just a kid, well, I was seventeen, or eighteen or something, but still just a kid... the raiders, and slavers were always coming around to try to burn down our homes, or steal our food. I lived in a colony to the north, up there somewhere." Gordon motioned vaguely, still rubbing his neck with one hand. "We fought back, and we never let them get the better of us. My grandparents were from a... a vault, my grandpa showed me how to shoot a gun." Gordon couldn't understand why he was even telling Aria all this. He had never told anyone. But he hadn't told anyone anything for years, besides how many caps he had on him, or what he had to trade."One day, I woke up... because my dad was shaking me. He was holding the mask... my mask in his hand. He was coughing and gagging. He told me to put it on, to run. He could barely get the words out." Gordon looked up at Aria. "He made me put it on, I swear. I tried to drag him along with me, but he started coughing up blood, and vomit, and..." Gordon looked down again."His eyes... kind of melted, I don't know... his whole face was melting, and blood, and other things were pouring down onto the ground." He looked up at Aria once more."Now you tell me, am I crazy, or I am just trying to survive? To protect myself?"

Aria tried holding back tears. She had never known her parents. They'd died when she was young, and she was raised by a group of wandering travelers which ultimately deserted her in Denver. She didn't have a terrible story like Gordon did. "We're all trying to survive in this world. I guess that, during the process of surviving...we all become a little crazy as well." She paused for a second or two. "How did it feel when...when I made you take off the mask?"

Gordon suddenly grew angry."What? What do you think it felt like?" Gordon paused before speaking again, and this time spoke more calmly, with a decreased tone of voice. "If felt like you were spitting on my parent's grave."

Tim was freaked, this had happened to him before. The room was oddly familiar. Then, it hit him. The bandit....the bandit named "Kragg" had abducted him when he was young, and did this to his dad, in the same very room. Holding back tears, he got up, and found he had incredible strength. He wandered through each corridor, bandits in chase. He finally found the exit, and found, there was a bast tunnel system leading through the ground. He emerged through a tunnel, and found himself in a parking lot. The moon was still out, and as he wandered around, he noticed 2 people talking, a girl, and a masked man. Believing them to be bandits, Tim rushed at a masked person. He shouted and screamed various things, out of hatred. Out of vengeance. He was at the Super-Duper mart.

Spoiler:
I assume Tim is actually doing that...

"Listen, I'm really, really sorry. I didn't know...I guess I-" her eyes went wide as she noticed a figure charging towards them. "Look out!" She pushed Gordon out of the man's reach and dove to the other direction. She believed she had seen this face...She believed it was Tim.

Spoiler:
Ruined the "moment"

Gordon rolled as Aria pushed him to the ground, grabbing for the two pistols in his backpack. He pulled them free, and immediatley opened fire, aiming directley for Tim's head and chest. He did not cease until half of either clip had been spent.

Yes, he did seem to shatter the "moment".
