"Will you be moving on after this sir?" Ben asked the Captain "Because unless your uncle has some plan to house the surviving population of the valley, were all going to have to move on sooner orlater and I'd rather have a secure form of transport."

"It's lovely. Very different!" Vex said, taking a step away from the edge of the ship. She began humming, her hair and dress both blowing in the wind.

"Captain? Is there anything I can do to help?" she asked Hooper. "I'm an engineer."

Yalun stood up and looked at the town. He hrummed and sighed.

"If you help me bet to Kimmit." Jason turned to Hopper; "I'll help too. Pretty good with engeneering, fantastic in combat."

Yalun approached the captains and others. "Thank you." He said to Hooper. "If there is anything I could do to help..."

"You sure are eager, I don't think there is anything for you to fix on the ship, but my uncle might have something for you", the ship ground to a halt and began hovering next to the windmill, where a large wooden plank was precariously placed out to the ship, one path from the plank lead down to Arvel and another lead to the windmill, both paths were made out of stones lodged into the pillar.

Hooper began shouting, "All Arvel folk get off here, i'm leaving for Kimmit in ten hours", hoping the refugees would here him, but none seemed to clamber out of the deck hatch, Hooper then looked at Ben, "As I said we're going to Kimmit in ten hours, but I would like a few of you to visit my uncle with me to help explain what happened, he seems to think my snuff drives me loopy so i'll need evidence".

Hooper walked down the gangwalk and up the path to the windmill.

Vex got behind Hooper, humming and letting out a few "la la la's" to alleviate the feeling of eagerness to get out and explore Arvel.

Yalun looked at Vex. "Aren't you a bit.." He thought on the word. "Old to do that?" He asked.

Jason followed Hopper, but was very eager to immediatly lift off to Kimmit.

"Do what, sing?" she said in an almost melodic voice. "You're never too old to have fun, you know."

Ben was across the gangplank almost as soon as it touched the ground. He was glad to be away from all those people and he wouldn't be going back. There's no way in hell I'm going back to Kimmit He thought to himself. I'd rather take my chances with the robots than return.

Yalun smiled. "I know, but.." He sighed. "Even fun has it's limits." He said sadly. "Even good things.. shouldn't end.." He hastily tacked on a smile, it was as false as a three gold sword.

Vex tilted her head. "The reason why so many people have dead-end lives filled with boredom and stuff is because there's a limit on fun." she said with a shrug. "That's what I think, anyway. Take it or leave it."

Yalun smiled. "I bring joy to kids. My life isn't boring, is it?" He asked Vex. He took the opinion and stashed it away, leaning forward, he waited on the awnser.

"Making life fun for other people's a wonderful thing to do!" Vex said with a smile. "What is it that you do, exactly?"

"When once life is filled with pain and suffering," Jason turned to Vex and Yalun; "and said person has devoted himself to a mission they cannot let go; there isn't room for fun." He snapped his head back, as if nothing happened.

Yalun smiled. "Tricks. I travel." He stated, leaning upon his cane. "Magic for good, rather evil."

Vex rolled her eyes at Jason and then turned back to Yalun. "Magic liiike..." she said, birthing small ball of light in her hands. "This? I'm a practicing musician too."

Yalun smiled. "More like.." He said, willing his cane to float and spin, he stayed still and let it spin around him, suddenly it burst into flame and seemed to crumble into ash, another cane was in Yalun's hand. "That.. It's tiring.."

"Neat." Vex said with a smile. "My name's Vex." she said, extending her hand to Yalun. "And you?"

"Yalun, wandering entertainer, and magican of no real importance." Yalun stated taking the hand.

Ben watched the magical display in amazement, his father had told him when he was younger that it was all faked but he wasn't so sure now. "Who thought you to do that sir" he asked as his jaw opened in awe

Yalun smiled. "Never the children." He stated.

Hooper shouted, "Shush, shush, my uncle is coming".

Hooper hadn't even knocked on the door as it flung open and smashed against the wall. A frail old man stood in front of them all, he had long hair which was kept in a ponytail and his facial hair was an overgrown goatee. The old man was wearing a large, unflattering robe, and his mechanical right eye whirred and twitched rapidly as his accessed the newcomers, "David! What are you doing here! I told you, no interruptions, i'm working!", the man looked back over the group, "And who are these vagabonds who you have with you! Explain yourselves!".

Jason grunted and muttered something under his breath about stupid magicians.
