So Aveline isn't the only greedy one?

Nope! But I'd say Rafael is more...Ambitious, than greedy.

Rafael continued sharing out gemstones among those around the camp, until he was left with a fistful, and the sapphire he had initially taken. He took this fistful of treasure and buried it under the head of his sleeproll for safekeeping. He smoothed out the sandy surface until it was uniform with the rest of the sand again, settled the tarp that served as a makeshift floor on the sand, and put his sleeproll back overtop. Enough to buy an island? Maybe.

And it's only a small fraction compared to the huge pile that's still there.

The Inner Sanctum
The Old Man nodded, then looked at Nathaniel. To those with a sharp eye, they might have seen Nathaniel have an aura about him. "By the way, you can't die of old age now, and I won't actually be killed!" The Old Man laughed before touching the diamond and literally fading away to who knows where. Nathaniel and Sarah had a look of utter confusion upon their faces and suddenly the diamond began to glow brighter and brighter. Culminating in a flash that caused all to look away. What was left were nine men, ghostly in appearance. "I can't believe that you actually believed him." One said, and the others laughed.
Rafael
The amount Rafael recovered wouldn't buy an island, but it would certainly give him enough to finance any future endeavors.
Jenghis
For whatever reason Jenghis was putting them gems into his mouth, they tasted like dust and dirt.

"Are you...? Oh, goodness, get those out of your mouth before you start choking on them. I don't think anyone wants to have to cut you open to get those back." Rafael said to Jenghis as he re-entered the temple. He began gathering up the ones that had been scattered around, and returning them to the pile. "I've got a little collection going already." Rafael said, more quietly. "Get what you can, but not enough as to be noticed missing."

He headed down the stairs and looked up at the glowing stones, wondering if they could be pried off, if they would be dangerous, or if they would be worth anything. Cautiously, he tapped one with the blade of his boarding axe. "Just my luck, they'll...they'll contain the souls of the damned, or something."

Who can't die of old age, Nathaniel?

"You're The People?" She asked the ghosts then looked at Nathaniel, there was something off. She could barely see it, the Aura. "Your..." She began before walking over to Nathaniel out of worry. "You're...cursed too? Come on we should leave and make sure the others don't disturb this place."

Jenghis got out of the pile of gemstones, but not before overloading his pockets and whatever nooks and crannies he could find on his body. He slowly into the temple, kicking any gem that fell from his clothing forward. He finally hobbled over to where Rafael was, mouth still desparately holding on to the gems.

Don Leon watched, listened, and observed for what went on, while he may not have born witness to the full, he could assume what he missed. He watched, sternly upon to see what may unfold, only to be blinded by the light. His expectations were conflicted, but he took part in what destiny planned.

As the light dimmed and he saw the figures, he now knew what side of the coin was flipped. Regret.. that is what I shall know this day by..

The Inner Sanctum
"No, we are the Protectors. The obviously insane man who led you here was our leader. He always like to play jokes on people." The Man said, his appearance forming into something a little more solid. "[&@%!] loves to torment me if he threw another curse on top of the two he already gave me." Nathaniel said angrily. Sarah stood back, glad the Old Man hasn't given her anything.

Rafael closed his eyes, and gave the back of one of the glowing stones a firm tap with his axe, to knock it off the wall.

"Oh, I see." Nuah spoke and backed up a little, unsure if she could take several witch doctors in one day. "Thank you, I'll make sure my crew takes just enough for all 400 of them so they all have retirement plans. We'll leave stones and some other herbs as thanks. I'm not sure about the other pirates though. We have jars which should be enough to store enough gems to share between 400 girls." Nuah spoke to the Protectors. To Nathaniel she smiled a bit. "I'm not sure if your curses are tied to anything, but with Sarah being a part of my crew now you're kinda like family already." Nuah smiled a little then looked at Sarah "So you're ready? I'll pick up and carry your share. We'll all split it when we board The Baroness."

Rafael
The gem disintegrated as Rafael hit it.
The Inner Sanctum
"Hmmm." Nathaniel grunted, still upset from his most recent curse. Sarah nodded. "Okay. Thank you." She said.
"Unfortunately, he was the most powerful. We cannot undo what he does." The Man told Nathaniel. Nathaniel ignored him and walked out, headed for his ship to wait for Alistair.
William, Francis
"Yes, sir." Jonathan spoke, heading off to have the men repair the ship.

Nuah felt ignored when Nathaniel just left like that. Regardless she led Sarah and Natalye to the first room, the string was so to not get lost. Back at the gems she filled her jars while she gave the Ok for the rest of the girls to fill their jars but just be able to run afterwords. When they were done she led them and Sarah to the ship. She first introduced Sarah to the girls and then brought them to the ship where Sarah could be introduced to the other 382 girls. She wished to speak to Nathaniel too, for if he was immortal now she thought maybe she could talk to him and have his ship park at the cove too for repairs. She was quite glad to get away and did leave behind some rocks, herbs, planted and even some dry. She wanted to know what would become of this. Surely...there must be something more, a mission or quest perhaps? She felt they didn't see the last of Tom the Wizard Lorekeeper. Perhaps she could speak with Nathaniel.

"Hijo de puta!" Rafael swore at the gem's destruction. "That would have been worth my weight in gold! ..Ah well. --Jenghis, you need to give those to the others. Did you see the size of those ships? We need to give them a good amount, for an equal share. I've already given many men a pair each, so for now, let's just abscond with, say, a pocketful each, for OUR men." With that, Rafael took up a pocketful, and headed back to the camp.

Jenghis looked at Rafael with an expression that surely meant, "Only a pocketful?"

"Well, it's either we take our 'fair' share, or they'll kill us all and leave us with nothing but our bones." Rafael said calmly. "I'd rather get out rich than die immensely rich."

Leon followed his way to the beach, walking down the stone steps as he though of what befell so soon.
Another immortal? It's far from as pleasant many make it seem..
He did not take any gems or wealth with him, no, earthly desires were pointless to have. He walked alone, dwelling on thoughts. As he closed upon the beach, he went to sit upon the sand and watch the waves. He was within the borders of the camp, but away from any tents or gatherings. He was in straight view of the ships off shore.

"Such a sight.." he started to play once more on his violin, no singing or words. The lambent of the music was all that was needed. Even if one was to say he looked depressed, he still smiled. Content at most was he, but in no longer wanted to be near such a source of greed. He knew well the struggle that may form

Alas I have met many new people, to where will my journey take me.. Tell me my old friend, why does the skeleton loves his music so? Is it because the sound makes him feel alive once more? Even surrounded I still am alone.. But I have meet the one I have searched, yet it is too soon.. Tell me my old friend, why would one ever pass up the pursuit of joy?
Don Leon thought to himself, knowing how his accursed skull could hear. He asked it not for any replies, just to give ear

Jenghis' face wore a pained expression as he spit out all of the gems in his mouth. "I guess it would be better to not die. We could always come back here, I don't know."

"Let's see what the day brings, hmmm?" Rafael suggested. With his pocket full of gems, he headed back to his tent. Outside it, he looked around for any and all of his crew who were on land with him.

Abdur-Rahman left the temple with everyone else, just as confused as ever. as he walked past the gem stones, he picked up another two in each hand, and once again stuffed them into the folds of his cloak. it was getting a bit full now, though. Well, at least this trip wasn't a total waste.. He thought as walked out of the temple, looking at a Ruby in his hand.

After strolling down to the beach, Abdur-Rahman stopped to look around. he took a look at each of the ships off shore. I'll need a ride off this island... and i have been looking for ship and crew anyways?.. Abdur-Rahman thought to himself.

Abdur-Rahman's best bet is Nathaniel's crew as he's probably the only one who can understand him

Pierre left the Inner Sanctum and started to pick up gemstones. He stuffed as many as he could into the pockets of his apron, as well as those of his trousers. Taking two extra in each hand for good measure, he headed back to the temple entrance to wait for Jacob, Aveline, and Angeline.
