J'Kavar clearly pleased to have found a hostpitible Orc smiled then thought. Why does he not look like a normal Orc? His attitude is also very kind...

"Can I just call you Dal? easier to remember. Also may Khajiit ask why you don't seem like a normal Orc? He doesn't wish to insult but..."

Dal got this a lot but didn't really mind explaining it again. "What you really mean is why am I not snarling or grunting or being rude. It's because my parents were killed by an Orc. Made me realize I didn't want to be like him. My adoptive mother taught me how to preserve life instead of taking it. She showed me peace is a good thing to have."

Ra'zhar smiled at the orc and his fellow khajiit. "Ra'zhar assumes you are all searching for contracts as well? Mercenaries seem to be drawn to this place like moths to a flame."

Taken aback by his response J'Kavar said "In my short time I have never spoken to anyone who was so level headed, even the jarl of Whiterun..."

He then turned to ra'zhar and spoke "no I'm not in this for money I will only help a noble cause I won't hire myself for money anymore."

"I like gold. Helps keep me fed and off the streets," Dal said.

"This one earned a large amount of coin from his caravan with my sister and mate. We traveled skyrim for many years earning our share, khajiit needs no more and wants to give back. This is also J'Kavar's first time out of skyrim." the khajiit spoke solemnly.

should I be here? Is this life really for me. The khajiit thought as he spoke.

"Would a hungry Orc be a good enough cause for you to take action?" Dal asked hopefully.

J'Kavar reached into his bag and pulled out a small pouch and handed it to Dal. The bag contained an assortment of food including bread, salted meat, fruit and cakes.
"Watch the cakes, they are a khajiit recipe." J'Kavar told Dal

"It would be enough for Ra'zhar." Zhar replied. "If you'd like to join Ra'zhar for any adventure we may find."

"But are his intentions noble?" J'Kavar said bluntly without hesitation.

Dal looked wide-eyed at the contents of the bag. "Thank you, J'Kavar!" he said before pulling out a piece of the salted meat and taking a big bite out of it.

To Ra'zhar he said, "Sounds like a good idea, as long as you don't mind having an Orc around."

He then turned back to J'Kavar, "Whose intentions?"

"This one is happy to help any in need, and it's Ra'zhar's intentions I question for khajiit does not know him, but if they are khajiit will help him." J'Kavar said.

Dal quirked a thick black eyebrow up, not quite following what J'Kavar said. "So you don't know if you can trust him, but you trust him?" he asked, bewildered.

"I apologise for my roundabout speaking. It... Is hard to replicate what you would consider normal. This one doesn't trust him yet but if he proves to me he can be trusted then I will help him with his endeavors." J'Kavar told him apologeticly.

"How can he prove it?" Dal asked, biting into one of the cakes. The taste was interesting but good. He wondered what was in it.

"Khajiit will judge him by his actions alone. That's how." J'Kavar said in a pleasant demeanor. "also those cakes have moon sugar in them if you are wondering."

Dal had already swallowed his bite of the cake, otherwise he would have spit it out. He had heard that moon sugar was something non-Khajiit should stay away from. He put the rest of the cake back in the pouch, hoping that he did not feel too many of the effects.

"Ra'zhar understands. He shall do whatever must be done to earn one of the Warm Sands' trust." he said.

He turned to Dal. "Ra'zhar does not care for races. All are people of their own merit. You are welcome to join us."

The fountain seemed to be laughing at Dal. He turned and gave it a stern look. Thankfully the fountain stopped.

"What?" asked Dal a little too loudly.

"Ah, it seems he wasn't ready for the moon sugar." Ra'zhar said, observing Dal's odd behavior, but hardly surprised. "Why don't you sit down a moment?"

"Ahh he shall be ok soon, it isn't very potent." J'Kavar told him.
