Before they could answer, The lights went out "Crap" Alex said "I'm going to find the generator, It's probably a zombie." Alex looked towards Rory, "Let's go, It'll be better if we didn't go alone" Alex took his axe and went towards the basement

Aiden ran up and grabbed Alex's shoulder.

"How the hell does an infected turn off a generator? I've been down there, it's a pretty complex system. The only way that thing was turned off was by one of us, and by my count, we're all here. That means it's out of gas," Aiden turned and shot a cock-eyed look at Valjean.

"Burn the only source of food for who knows how many miles? Are you insane?" Aiden laughed. "I say we go around the edge and pick as much as we can. There's got to be some kind of cart we can carry it all in somewhere in the fort. I think I saw a rolling tray in the cafeteria. Someone go get that, so we can move anything we need easily."

Mattaeus looked up upon hearing the annoucment from Valjean. Looks like somethings happening Matt thought. He slung his M1 on his back and headed to the headed to the centre of the courtyard.

Elizabeth hurried to the manual gate controls, near the gate itself. The control system was installed during the early 1900's, but had stopped being used during the Second World War. She pushed the center lever to the top of the machine, rust and old spider webs flying in all directions. The lock reclined into the wall. The gates were unlocked. They were immediately flung open as twenty zombies poured into the courtyard. They had been waiting for a long time. Elizabeth was shocked by their image. The red eyes, the blood running from their mouths - It reminded her of her father during the Boston pandemic. Oh, had he enjoyed killing those horrid creatures.

"Fire! We've got to start somewhere!" She raised her pistol and put a bullet into four of their heads as she retreated away from the gate.

Spoiler:
Yeah, I've been bored with this fort for a really loooooooong time. IT HAS BEGUN!!!

Also, Lizzy didn't just suddenly pop a bunch of pistol-wielding skills. Her father had taught her how to use it long ago, but never wanted her to be exposed to such combat. So...

LET'S GET TO ZOMBIE KILLIN'!!!!!

Spoiler:
Yeah, time to kill some zombies.

Mattaeus realized he was in the open when the zombies charged in. Four were quickly dropped by Elizabeth but the rest kept on charging and a few headed straight for him. Matt dropped a grenade on the spot excluding the pin and sprinted away. The zombies didn't get to him as quickly as he thought and the grenade exploded too early, only killing the first two in the front of the group.

Alex charged at the group with his axe and easily sliced a zombie in 2 to the torso. "That was for the roast.." He whispered

"Not really!" Lizzy shouted, shooting the nearest zombie in the chest. She tripped on a knife that had been driven into the ground. She looked at it with a raised eyebrow. It was her father's combat knife! How did it get there?

No matter. She reloaded her pistol as quickly as possible as three zombies advance toward her at lightning speed. She'd forgotten how fast they were. "Help!" she fired at the front zombie's head. The bullet went through its nose, causing a massive hole to form in the center of his face. She had terrible aim on the ground. They were getting too close. She closed her eyes and fired in thier direction.

Ale continued axing zombies, growing more and more excited. Most of his surroundings were littered with mutilated zombies bodies.
"I'm enjoying this a lot!"
Spoiler:
I've axed at lest 7 zoms by now so I'm guessing not a lot

Spoiler:
There were six left in General's post, but "axing zombies" has no definite number I can pin to it. I think it's fair to say I may be leaving this RP soon, though.

Aiden stepped behind a statue and flattened his back against it. Military training wasn't the best for an unarmed enemy, but it was what he knew. He rolled the sling of the Colt off of his shoulder and jammed a magazine into it, pulling the bolt back and chambering a round. He leaned out from the wall and aimed over Elizabeth's head, splattering the infected's blood all around. He took another shot, hitting a zombie in the leg. It toppled over onto another, and they began crawling. A third shot busted the head of another fallen infected.

Bullcrap! One more dude/chick leaves, and this thing is gettin' flushed.
It's amazing that this RP inflates when we're still in the boring part, but when we get to the fun part (zombie killing...what the RP was made for), everyone drops out.

My problem is people's lack of respect for the English language. And somehow not catching on to the use of the spoiler tag for OOC discussion.

I'm not trying to step on anybody's toes, but as I said in my initial post I've never role-played before and this was my first effort at it. I just don't find this specific RP interesting, and I have to agree with BioTechnic to a certain degree. Everybody is writing "reactively," meaning you don't offer me anything to work with, instead everybody just states "This is what I said in reaction to what you said." Where's the lead-in? Where's the forethought? Where's the mental trauma from the world just ending, your entire family being destroyed? (EquinGirl & BioTechnic aside...) And Drathan was by and far the best at providing lead-ins. What he wrote you were actually able to react to, and in turn provide something to which he could react.

Also, it's a bit too fictional for me. How did Marcus "hear" about the airport on the other side of the island? How can an island supporting a city of millions also support farming? How are you just going to open the flood gates and invite all of the zombies into your one secure area? What about ammo: you guys all talk about how you're armed to the teeth, but where is all the ammunition? Food? What about shelter? How far is the airport, you gonna walk the whole way? What if somebody is injured? Who controls the zombies: if you have fast zombies and smart zombies then shouldn't there be some sort of direction that they take? A specific person deciding what the zombies do? Or is it just "I want to shoot twenty zombies now so here's twenty zombies?" Don't get me wrong, I understand it's just fiction and I'm probably reading more into it than there's need to be, I'm just saying without a certain level of realism I can't be intrigued and drawn in. By all means if you want to have infinite ammo in your story then have infinite ammo, that's your decision.

It seems like there are still others who are very interested in what you're doing, I don't see any need to "flush" anything, are you guys not still having a good time? And besides, I already made it clear that I wasn't going to be a part of your group departing the fort, so what does it matter if I quit or not? If it makes you feel better you can write me a finale where I am brutally murdered by a flood of zombies. I'll tell you what: in lieu of quitting, I'll either take control of the AMPF forces at the airport or be a "zombie commander" if you want to me to, just let me know. I just know you said "one character per person" and I didn't want to step on your toes.

I understand what they're saying here and it does make sense, how about from now on we'll have for now, 4 mags for each weapon? Marcus may have heard an emergency transmission? Once again getting back to the point Biotechnic and Prophet have made we haven't been told enough about the storyline itself, so in your next post we'll need things like:What shops are in the area, where the main hordes of zombies are, if zombies are coming or not, if theres specials around, and if anyone has seen Acunstis roleplay maybye we could have things based on what just happened e.g If you see someone get eaten alive by zombies Anger +1 Fear+3 or something like that(Just suggestions i'm not demanding you put them in and i'm not sure if the last on would work but it may improve the roleplay) :D
