Cruncher put away his fusion pistol and picked up the rocket launcher with ease, and he joined the group as they walked into the back area. It was a cylindrical room with what looked like a reactor core. It had walkways all around the room, but they were all above Gamma Team. Instead, the path they were on led straight to the core.

As James tried to put a demo charge on it, all the lights in the place turned from blue to red; like they had triggered an alarm. The sould of metal grinding against metal could be heard behind the team as a giant turret popped out of the ground. The hallway leading back to the elevator was closed off with a one foot thick blast door. The turret in the ground then started to attack.
