Shoot the terminal? Malivia responded. Are you insane? That'll set off the security systems, and we'll become target practice for those auto turrets. As she said this, she pointed at several small, yet deadly, laser cannons on the ceiling, all pointing at Gamma Team.

Trust me. You don't want to shoot the computer.

I would like to see what's in that big desk, said James.

Cruncher walked over to the computer. He selected "Friend" on the menu. The screen flashed red once and a loud buzzer went off as this showed up on the screen. (picture)

You can:

» Enter a random password
» [Hacking] Select "Lost password"
» Go back to the previous menu
» Exit

so can we shoot it now...

Why the hell would you shoot it? Gary asked.

Let's click "lost password,"Malivia said excitedly.

"fine but if this fails i REALLY wanna shoot it..." cruncher said with a sigh

Let's say we lost our password. said James.

A small message appeared on the screen.

You can:

» Guess at the password
» Enter a random password
» Exit

If you choose the first option, then include what you think is the correct password.

"i wanna look around the room and lok for things that might be used as the password name" cruncher says as he starts to walk around the room

if that doesnt work THEN we SHOOT IT!!!

Sorry about the late post. I've had issues with no time to type out a post and no internet, but alas, here it is.

Cruncher typed in "William Ivanovich" on the computer. It gave him an error that said "Error: One or more characters are invalid." He replaced the space with an underscore, and the computer accepted it. It said "Access granted. You are free to explore the base."

Gamma Team looked toward the back of the base and saw a large cylindrical object that was glowing at various points. It almost looked like a reactor core.

You can:

» Search the main room
» Advance to the back

I wonder what's in there, Gary said, pointing to the main room. Let's check it out.

So, uh... how bout that main room?

Sure, go ahead. I once posted this on a different forum before I registered here, and it was pretty successful.

The team of four started walking around the main room, looking for anything that could prove useful. Suddenly, Cruncher spotted what looked like a portable missile launcher leaning against the wall.

You can:

» Have Cruncher take it
» Have Gary take it
» Have James take it
» Have Malivia take it
» Ignore it and continue searching
» Ignore it and go to the back

Rocket Launcher (special weapon)

Spoiler:

-- 1d6 to hit, 5d20 damage (min. 75)
-- Whoever holds it gets -2 to their dodge chance
-- Has two shots; once both used, it is automatically discarded

Special weapons are another weapon slot; they're usually weapons you find on missions or that are given to you before a mission. They almost always have limited ammo like this. Generally, it's a good idea to take them.
