I need to kill a Follower but I hate doing it. Can you make suggestions on which Follower deserves to get killed?

How many huskarls do you have, or need?

5 Housecarls are available to the player. They come with the Player's House and Thanedom.

Whiterun - Lydia
Riften - Iona
Windhelm - Calder
Markarth - Argis the Bulwark
Solitude - Jordis the Sword-Maiden

I'd only recommend killing one of them. Calder.

I hate his Porkchop sideburns.

Eola is definitely the most evil follower.

Most evil? Eola or Cicero. Cicero is essential though, so you can't do that. And don't kill any of the mercs, it may seem like they're bad but they're actually all fairly decent. Marcurio is the best destruction mage follower besides Illia (who won't follow you more than once, so if you have her then go ahead and kill her because if she gets dismissed for any reason at all you'll have to kill her to get your gear back anyways, but the downside to this is that she is the single strongest mage follower in the game), Jenassa is one of the only dual wielders in the game, and that dude in Solitude is one of the only spellsword followers and he's pretty good too.

People like Erandur, or Uthgerd, or maybe Sven if you chose him over Faendal would all be good candidates since they're weak.

If I hadn't already junked Argis on the pillar, my next choice would have been Iona. I have this sneaking feeling that, if I give her too much to carry, one day she's going to shoot a 500-megawatt plasma cannon at me when I come in through the front door.

Is this for the daedric quest? I just picked the merc in the tavern in windhelm. He's not evil but he's close by.

Yes, henryjones000 asked this in the context of finding someone worthwhile enough to kill off for the daedra. How he equated "most evil" with "most useful enough to dispose of" is far beyond me to comprehend. Which only means he must be a good person at heart.

A contradiction if you think about it.
A good person, sacrificing someone, in the name of Boethiah?

Boethiah is said to be good for the Dunmers, but yeah, they're Dunmers...

My main is good and I did this quest but I used the excuse that he was being used and didn't had the willpower to break free from Boethiah's spells (same with the other "evil" Lords). A thing to think about if you aim to roleplay.

Yeah, it's a known bug. Iif you buy Honeyside and enter it before talking to the Jarl to officially be named Thane, Iona never shows up.

I picked up a merc at a tavern for this. They knew what they were signing up for and that they might die.

Just have to add that I sacrificed Ria from the Companions for that quest - but returning to the companions hall some time later she was back again, going about her business as usual! Don't know if this has happened to anyone else or not...?

Kill Uthgerd the Unbroken, I just hate her for some reason. I think it's the fact she started attacking me after I killed Nazeem. Well I got her back.

No! Uthgerd's awesome!

As far as evil followers go, I'd peg Sven at the top of the list, but if you didn't help him, that's off the table.
Most of the other potential followers are good people, though. It's hard to remember any that aren't.
